"Where did you get all those guns?" Dan frowns.

Entoan shrugs, "Was holed up in a gun store, decided to clean it out."

"Just you?" Dan raises an eyebrow.

Entoan looks away, "Me and.. The friend I was telling you about."

"Who was he?" Dan crosses his arms, "You still haven't told us who it was."

"I don't want to talk about it, okay?" Entoan groans, "Let's just focus on the task at hand."

Dan frowns, but doesn't say anything else. Minx looks back at them for a moment before facing forward again. They enter the city in the dark and Minx looks around, taking a flashlight from a side pocket on her backpack. They continue on in silence, keeping an eye out for any threat, infected or otherwise.

They make their way slowly through the ghost town of a city. They hide behind a building as a small horde of infected wander into the street. Dan look at Minx, who exchanges glances with Entoan. Entoan sighs softly, whispering, "So, what's the plan here? How do you expect to find Cry, Ohm, and Phil?"

"I don't know," Minx confesses, "But they have to still be here somewhere, otherwise we would have ran into them on the way."

"Most likely," Entoan nods.

Dan groans softly, "But we still need a plan. We can't just search blindly, can we?"

"Well we can't just walk around screaming their names, either." Entoan sighs, "But you're right. We need a plan."

Minx bites her bottom lip, peeking around the corner of the building they're hiding behind. The streets are becoming quickly filled with the infected. Just as she feared. She turns back to her friends, "We need to get inside, those damn zambies are filling the streets."

She said "zombies", but with her accent, the word came out weird.

"Zambies?" Entoan smirks.

Minx glares, "Shut up and move."

They move quickly and quietly down the alley, looking for any place to hide out in. They find an open back door of a house and they go in. Dan closes and locks the door behind them while Minx and Entoan scout the place for any infected. They all meet back up in the living room and Minx plops down on the couch, taking her backpack off, "Place is clear. Get some rest, we won't be going anywhere until the streets clear out a little bit."

Entoan sits next to her, taking his bag off and leaning back, "Hope they clear out soon, I don't want to spend too long in here."

They settle down to wait it out.

...

"We can't go out there right now," Phil whimpers, "Those things are everywhere.."

"We have to," Ohm angrily throws things into his backpack, "Cry's been gone too long. I was supposed to have his back. If anything happens to him, it's my fault."

"I'm sure he's fine.." Phil looks nervous, "He's probably hiding from the.. Them.. Too.."

"Maybe, but I doubt it. He was talking with people before the infected wandered over and he disappeared." Ohm replies.

"We don't even know where he went," Phil shakes his head, "We should wait until he comes back. He knows where we are. If we stay, he'll come back here."

"He could be in danger," Ohm states, "We need to go after him. He'd come after us if we got separated like that."

"But.." Phil frowns lightly, "He was talking to other people, right? Why would that put him in danger?"

"We're all trying to survive," Ohm replies, "People aren't as nice as they used to be. If you have something they need, they'll take it from you."

"How do you know that?" Phil asks.

"It's just common sense," Ohm sighs, "I've seen a lot of shows and played a lot of games based on this kind of world.. It's common."

"I hope you're wrong.." Phil says softly, putting on his backpack.

Ohm finishes his packing and puts his own backpack on, "Me, too. Let's go."

They leave the house, keeping quiet and close to one another. Hiding behind broke down cars and alleyways, Ohm and Phil make their way through the city, though uncertain where they should actually go. They duck into another alley and Ohm steps up to a door.

Finding it's locked, he starts trying to pick it. The door opens and a gun is put to Ohm's head. Ohm blinks, "Entoan?"

Entoan gasps and steps back, lowering the gun, "Ohm! Phil!"

He lets them inside then closes and locks the door again. Minx and Dan come over and Minx hugs Ohm before shoving him, "What the hell is taking you so long?!"

She stiffens, frowning, "Where's  Cry?"

Dan hugs Phil, who hugs him back. Dan pulls back and smiles, "I'm so glad you're okay."

Phil smiles back softly, "What are you doing here?"

"Cry's missing," Ohm explains to everyone what he knows about Cry's disappearance. Everyone distributes their supplies and weapons so they're all fully equipped for the task at hand. Entoan sighs, "So, what's the plan?"

"Phil and I are going to go back to the house while you three find Cry." Dan states.

Minx stares at him, "What?"

Entoan frowns, "You can't just abandon him like that."

"I'm not abandoning anyone," Dan replies, "I'm getting Phil to safety. The rest of you are more than capable to find one man by yourselves. Besides, I'm coming back once I get Phil to the house."

"That's a waste of time," Entoan says, "Going back to the house and then coming back would take about four days."

He stands and glares at Dan, "If you're going to go back to the house, just go. It's very clear what your priorities are."

Dan glares back at him, "I don't have to take this from you."

"Stop," Minx steps between them, "We're a group, a family now. We cannot turn on each other. We are all we have. We don't leave anyone behind, and we sure as hell don't drive anyone out. We're all going to find Cry, and we're all going home together."

Ohm nods, "She's right. So, let's get going, Cry's waiting for us."

Entoan crosses his arms, "She's right. But I'm not apologizing. Dan's got issues with playing for the team. He already told me he'd save Phil over us."

Minx frowns, "We'll work all this out later. We've got things to do right now."

She pushes past them and leaves the house. Ohm and Phil quickly follow after her. Dan glares at Entoan, who glares back before following as well. Dan sighs and rolls his eyes, following after them, too. He may not be a "team player", but he knows he isn't the only one in this group.
