Chapter 2-Knocking

Josh's POV

I opened the door surprised to see who it was. It wasn't Maddie it was Chloe. "Hi Chloe" I said a little saddened and confused.

Chloe didn't say anything she just stared into my eyes and nodded her head. She acted like she was in a trance. I was a little bummed that Maddie wasn't at the door.

Chloe's POV

Josh answered the door and he said hi chloe!
OMG the amazingly gorgeous Josh Hyland said hi to me! I didn't know what to do so I just stared into his gorgeous blue eyes and nodded helplessly. He looked so cute with his hair spiked up at the front and he smelled even better than he does usually.

I finally got out the courage to say "you look nice today Josh". He nodded his head and told me he was going on a date with Maddie. I will admit I was very sad. I might have shown it in my eyes, but then I was extremely happy for Maddie. She had always liked Josh. "Oooooooh have fun, but I need to get my dance bag from Paige I left it here this afternoon and I need it ASAP" Josh smiled his pearly whites at me and yelled out to Paige. " Paige Chloe is here she needs her!" Paige was at the bottom of the stairs with my bag in her hand before he could say "dance bag." I thought that was funny and Paige and I started giggling. I gave Paige a quick hug said my goodbyes and turned on a high relevé and left.

Paige's POV

Chloe just came to get her bag which I thought was weird. We giggled for about a minute then she left. I think she really likes Josh. I can tell she does. Even though she won't admit it out loud.
She doesn't know I stay up later than her when she is asleep at the sleepovers we have. She talks about how gorgeous my brat of a brother Josh is. I mean I love him and everything it's just he is annoying. She talks in her sleep she also sleep dances and pretends that she is doing the Waltz with him. That makes me laugh. I need to record it one day. Josh looked annoyed that Maddie wasn't the person at the door. Oh well she will be here soon.

Josh's POV

Finally Chloe actually said something. I didn't exactly like what she said but it was a nice compliment. And also she is jealous of Maddie for going out with me. She had a stunned, sad look in her eyes.
Wow I looked into her eyes and thought to myself wow they are pretty. No I cant say that! I have an absolutely gorgeous and caring girlfriend. Where is my girlfriend? I hope she is okay. So I started playing a game on my phone called White Tiles 4 to pass the time.

Chloe said goodbye and left by turning on her tiptoes and walked outside. About five minutes later I heard a knock on the door. I ran to the door and found myself kissing Maddie. I enveloped her in a tight hug until she and I were satisfied. Melissa drove away as Maddie said hey to my mom. My mom asked if we wanted a drink but instead I took Maddie upstairs to my room. I had candles and love hearts everywhere. I wanted this night to be perfect. I was going to ask her something. I had what I wanted to say on some signs in my room. The signs read

Maddie Darling, Will you go to, the P,R,O,M with me?

Kelly's POV

Josh was so excited he made the house in tip top condition, he was taking Maddie on a date. He put roses on the table a banner up in the sitting room, helium balloons in the flowers and a couple just in the room so they could use them. Soon Maddie and Josh were kissing at the door which I thought was cute, then they were hugging. Maddie soon said hello to me and I went with a simple hey. She was such a well mannered kid. I asked them if they wanted a drink but Josh decided he would take her upstairs. He was going to ask Maddie to the PROM! I was so excited for him.

Maddie's POV

I arrived at the Hyland's house and was warmly greeted by Josh. He kissed my cheek and I kissed his cheek back, he then started kissing my lips. After the kissing he hugged me.
He smelt very nice, he was also nice and warm. I said hello to Kelly, and then she said hey to me. Josh was wearing nice clothes so automatically I knew we were going out for something dinner, dessert ? Oh well. He was the type of person that looked good in anything but he was wearing his best clothes tonight. I couldn't wait for dinner it smelt so good. I could smell baked chicken and vegetables one of my favourites. I also could smell pizza? I was confused now I didn't know what I could smell. Josh lead me upstairs to his room. I couldn't believe my eyes. He had candles and love heart shapes everywhere. OMG the signs. The signs said

Maddie Darling, Will you go to, the P,R,O,M with me?

I was jumping up and down with joy I hugged Josh and screamed with delight, YES!

Josh's POV

She said YES!
Yay I kissed her without realising we were both falling over my bed. We sat on my bed talking hand in hand and saying I Love You over and over again. We were both lost for words other than Love. I started taking in Maddie's reaction as reality, yes it was real.

I ran down stairs with Maddie on my back telling my mom we would be back by 12 at the latest. I checked my watch 6:00 pm we had 5 and a half hours to ourselves. I stood at the curb and waited for the limo that I secretly rented, well my parents knew but Maddie certainly didn't. Maddie loved limousines especially if it was for a special occasion. At exactly 6:03 twenty eight seconds the limo was here.
Maddie looked ecstatic. She wrapped me in a bear hug and jumped up onto me. She then stared into my eyes with her bright, big , gorgeous , aqua eyes. She looks beautiful I thought to myself.

Maddie's POV

When Josh walked me outside I knew something was gonna happen but I didn't know a limo was gonna happen OMG!! I was still so excited that I'm going to the prom. I need to pick out a dress. "I love you JoshyWoshy" "I love you more than the stars in the sky and more than all the... I love you to MaddieMoo" he said the first part up to all the in a poetry voice and the last part was in a sweet but embarrassed voice. I didn't mind I knew he loved me.
