Chapter 3- Dinner

Maddie's POV

When we arrived at the buffet I saw the dance floor straight away and some old couples and teenage couples were slow dancing. Josh said to me "Can I have this dance?" I let Josh take my hand as he lead me to the dance floor. The next thing I knew was he had his hands on my waist and we were waltzing.

After a few more slow songs the M.C announced we were having a dance off in an hour so we had enough time to eat a little. My first plate consisted of salad, a piece of fish, a slice of Hawaiian pizza, and a glass of punch. In about half an hour I was up to finishing my pizza when I looked at the time 6:45 I only had 15 minutes to get dressed into my dance clothes. I took Josh with me so he could dressed also. He went into the men's bathroom I went into the ladies bathroom.

I pulled on my ALDC booty shorts and a blue ALDC crop. I looked at my bare, callused covered feet and decided that I would look like an amazing dancer that Miss Abby Lee Miller had taught because I was going to pull off heaps of pirouettes, turns a la second, fouettes all without shoes.

Josh came out wearing his ALDC knee length shorts and his ALDC singlet. The singlet showed off his six pack, biceps, back muscles and all the other big muscles he had. I told him that when it came to the partner dance off we were going to do a lift. He looked excited. The music started and it was my little sister's new song " Girl Party." Kenzie was getting really popular not only on the show but with her music. Mack Z was a new hit. As it started I did the choreography from the music video, and normal improv.

I started off with improv, eight fouettes and then a side aerial. After that I did a revolution turn followed by a scorpion, then a right leg split. I then did the music video choreography but I then looked at Josh. He was smiling at me so then I decided to run to him.

Josh's POV

I had the same as Maddie for dinner and took a selfie with her. Maddie saw me flash a smile at her and then she ran up to me. " Come on Josh get your butt over here and join in the dance-off. You will definitely win out of the boys." Maddie is always so positive and enthusiastic, she could win a medal for her personality. "Alright little miss ALDC Dancer. I will do it for you." So Maddie lead me to the dance floor and the next thing I knew I was dancing.

I started doing some improv. Barrel jump, side aerial, back tuck, and more acro stuff, I then did the same turn sequence as Maddie and finished in a leg mount. Miss Abby taught me well because I managed to make it to the finals of the dance-off. But I was definitely shocked when I saw Gavin Morales here. My stomach practically dropped I knew he could beat me it happened before but now I need to show Maddie how good I really am. Gavin in my eyes is up himself.

Gavin's POV

I entered the buffet not only for the food but for the dance off. I was always up to a good dance off and the publicity. Oh look at that Maddie Ziegler and her twinkle toes boyfriend is here. I am waaaaaaay better than both of them combined. Just you wait Ziegler, hurricane Morales is here. She is not gonna know what hit her.

I started stretching and warming up to intimidate Ziegler and Hyland. I might call them Zieland. Yes I will. Zieland saw me and I started turning and then I started back tucking and side aerialing. I guess I didn't see a table and I might have fallen over it. It really hurt my ankle but I decided to brush it off. I reckon Maddie is gonna fan girl over me she has a giant crush on me!

Maddie's POV

Oh my gosh!! Gavin Morales is here how annoying. He thinks he is better than all of us Chloe, Paige, Brooke, Kenzie, Nia, Kendall, Josh and I. Well he isn't I can prove it. He just fell over a table. How could that happen!!!!?? The tables are bigger then the little brat!! Now that is funny. I guess he was expecting me to fan girl over him but no waayyy!
