I’m not one to draw attention to themselves, in fact too much attention gives me anxiety. So naturally, I was aiming to get good grades, and get the hell out of here. I was just after third period, I was heading towards my locker, that’s everything changed.

"Irene, you have to stop by your locker. You have to get books for fourth,” Ashley said.

"I need to go by mine anyway," Landry said, they like to gang up on me alot. They’ve liked it since we were kids, it kinda made me feel left out. I know they didn’t do it intentionally and that was all that mattered to me.

"You know how Sierra is, I don't want to be anywhere near her. But fine, I guess," I say with a pouty frown on my face. As we head to our lockers we pass by Johnnie, one guy out of a few who sit at our lunch table. I look up at him, sending him a shy smile and a wave. He looks startled for some reason, maybe it’s because we don’t talk much. He checks behind him to see if anyone is there, seeing no one he turns back and points at himself. I smile that shy smile once more and nod, and continue walking to my locker with my books clutched in my hands. ‘He such a goofball,’ I think to myself as I chuckle under my breath.

"So what are we doing after school?" Landry asks, with a bubbly tone in her voice.

"I don't know why you always ask this, we're going to Happy Day’s like every other day," Ashley says with a duhh tone in her voice. Ashley has always been the most sarcastic person in our trio. If this were Harry Potter she'd be a mix of Gryffindor and Slytherin if that's possible. Landry would be a Hufflepuff, through and through. I'd like to think that I could be a Gryffindor, but I'm too shy. That's why I'm a Ravenclaw. Potterhead.com is very useful when you're bored and you're besties are on vacation.

"So meet up at Happy Day’s after school? Good. See you guys at lunch," I say as they head for their fourth periods. Once I’m to my locker I'm surprised to see Sierra's not there, thank god, I did not want to deal with her. I open my locker to see a baby blue piece of paper float to the floor. Huh, odd, wonder what that is. I open it to my name written in elaborate cursive handwriting at the top. It says Irene, your smile brightens up my day more than the sun itself. The moon is the only thing in the sky I gaze at with loving eyes. You, Irene, are my moon and my sun. What is this? I have to find Ashley and Landry. I race to their class, almost bumping into the sub working in there for the day.

"You guys have to see this. Come on we're skipping 4th, let's go hurry," My mind races ahead of my body confused about who would do this. ‘Is this some kind of cruel prank?’ I wonder to myself. As we reach the bathroom, I find the biggest stall and yank them into it. I usually find confused looks on their faces amusing, but I know I have one on mine too. I show them the baby blue note, "Oh goodness, you have a secret admirer. Wait, what if it's Milo? Oh goodness Milo likes you,” Landry said, excitedly waving the paper back and forth.

"Alright guys, let's look like this from a logical point of view. Milo has a girlfriend, why would he cheat on her via note?" Ashley said, on a more depressing note. Let me explain, I’ve had a crush on Milo since sophomore year. When someone bumped into me and he helped me pick up my books and took me to my next class since I was new at the time.

"That would make sense though. Milo has been hanging around more than usual," I said with excitement. ‘What if he actually likes me?’ I think.

"Alright, how about this. We make a list of possible suitors. First, it’s most likely someone we know, someone who knows you well enough to start liking the real you. So, naturally, that’s the guys from lunch, Milo, Oliver, Marcus, Johnnie, Josh, and Damien. Now 2 of those 6 guys are gay. So it's Milo, Marcus, Johnnie and Josh. I doubt it's Johnnie, because you know, he's way too shy to do this. But then again Milo and Marcus have girlfriends, so they're unlikely choices. Josh is available so he’s the most likely of boys," Ashley said, giving us the depressing and possibly true facts.
