Chris
"Welcome to another episode of Total Drama: All Stars, Chris McClain here live from Camp Wawanakwa. We've had an amazing season and I gave it some thought and this season will have something special before the final challenge. But before I give anything else away let's wake the two contestants." Chris said, looking into the camera, then grabbed the megaphone from Chef who was standing beside him.
"Good morning campers, meet me at the docks pronto!" Chris yelled into the megaphone, in the direction of the cabins.
Zoey
Zoey was jerked awake when she heard Chris's voice through a speaker phone from somewhere on the island.
"What is with the sudden announcement, the final challenge doesn't start until next week..... I think." She mumbled to herself as she got out of bed and got ready for the day.
Mal
"What does he want, the final challenge isn't until next week..... I think." He growled out, he wasn't asleep or anything, Chris just annoyed him and he wasn't happy about it, but he got ready and left the losers cabin, which still ticked him off... losing to Mike's annoying girlfriend, Zoey. Speaking of which Zoey was heading out of the winners cabin, grinning Mal quickly walked up to Zoey not bothering to pretend he was Mike since she had figured out who he really was.
"What do you want Mal?" Zoey snapped out at him.
"Now no need to be rude, I just thought I'd walk with you to the docks." Mal answered.
"Why, you don't like me?" Zoey asked him, folding her arms across her chest.
"True, but I'm annoying Mike at the moment." He replied.
"What do you mean you're annoying Mike?" She asked, suspiciously.
"I mean Mike as well as the others can see everything that is going on, and me walking with you is annoying Mike." Mal explained.
"Let him go!" She yelled at him.
"No need to yell, but sorry I'm not letting Mike go, I've got plans and Mike will just be in the way. So he's staying where he's at." Mal said, then he smirked when Zoey glared and growled at him, he was actually a little impressed because if he was anybody except him, that might've scared him a little. After that they continued to walk in silence and Mal noticed that every once in a while Zoey would glare at him. Which to him it was great because other than Mike, Vito, Manitoba, Svetlana and Chester, he didn't think that anybody got that mad at him before.... mostly because they were too scared of him to be mad. When he and Zoey reached the docks, he noticed that Chris looked annoyed.
(Good, now you know how I feel over half the time)
Chris
"Do you two not know the meaning of the word pronto, it means now, we are running on a schedule you know!" He yelled at the two contestants.
"What do you want Chris?" If he remembered correctly the boy's name was...... Mal, asked him.
"Well it does and doesn't have anything to do with the final challenge." Chris answered.
"What do you mean?" The red-headed girl...... Zoey, asked him.
"I mean that I and some of the past contestants think that this season went by too fast, so we'll be making you do a few filler episodes before the final challenge..... that plus Chef messed up making the final challenge." He explained to the two teens before turning to glare at chef, who just rolled his eyes.
"What are you going to make us do?" Mal asked him.
"Well the past contestants thought that since a lot of TV shows have at least one holiday special..... so these filler episodes will be holiday themed." He answered.
"What holiday?" Zoey asked him.
"Halloween." He answered again.
"And what are you going to make us do?" Mal asked, and Chris could tell that Mal was slightly more interested.
"You two will be staying at least two to three weeks inside a haunted house." He replied, a huge smile spreading across his face.
"But which one, in this country alone there are hundreds of them?" Zoey asked him, and it kind of surprised him that she knew the statistics of how many ghost infested there are in this country.
"Well the past contestants thought it would be a good idea to send you two, to the Flores Mansion." He answered her, and he found it funny when her eyes widened.
Zoey
"But that place is so haunted and potentially dangerous that ghost hunters are not even allowed there anymore." Zoey replied, when Chris said that she and Mal would be spending two to three weeks at the Flores Mansion, she also noticed that Mal and Chris were staring at her in shock.
"What that's common knowledge?" She asked them.
"Anyway, why this particular house?" Mal asked Chris, and she noticed it took Chris another minute to get over his shock.
"Ah... well as for why they chose this house is because this house's history is shrouded in mystery and they want you two, to discover every secret that place holds...as well as prove its haunted." Chris explained, and Zoey noticed that Mal looked unamused.
"Is that all?" Mal asked Chris.
"Well before Chef takes you both to the mansion, I'll be giving you a little history lesson about the place.... of course it's only going to be the basics. I'm also going to tell you what's going to happen if one of you decide to run out the front gates scared." Chris answered.
"What happens?" She asked, curious as to what Chris was thinking.
"Well the person that doesn't run out of the front gates, will get a two minute head start in the final challenge. And if neither of you runs out the front gates... well now everyone will know it'll be hard to scare you." Chris replied.
Didn't you say something about a history lesson?" Zoey asked, raising an eyebrow at Chris when he didn't say anything else.
"Ah yes... feel free to add something if I skip over something. Construction started in 1888 and the mansion was finished nine months later-"
"Why the rush?" Mal asked, and she noticed that Mal was genuinely curious.
"Cora Flores, Thomas Flores wife was pregnant at the time, Thomas wanted to give her a house for a wedding gift, but she said their baby was her gift. So instead Cora asked Thomas to build a house for the baby..... while they were on their honeymoon the mansion was being built and when they got back nine months later, the mansion was finished and Cora stepped into her new home with a baby girl in her arms." Zoey explained, and she noticed that she had Mal, Chris and Chef's attention.
"Go on Chris." She prompted the TV show host.
"Oh.... well... technically, the building never stopped-."
"What do you mean the building never stopped, the mansion was finished?" Mal asked, interrupting Chris again, and Zoey had to smile because she could tell that Chris was annoyed.
"The building never stopped because every year on their daughters birthday, Thomas and Cora would have a new room or hallway built to the mansion and once their daughter was old enough they let her design the room or hallway. Though the building did stop in 1905." She answered Mal's question, then she looked at Chris who was looking through post-it cards.
"You get to do the history lesson." Chris said to her, then threw the cards on the ground, she looked at Chris curiously but ignored his behavior and turned to Mal.
"You don't know much about this mansion do you?" She asked him, knowing the question would bother Mal a little.
"And you know too much." Mal growled out.
"What happened in 1905?" Chris asked, Zoey could tell that he was growing impatient.
"Well this is where the rumors start..... the rumor goes that the building stopped in 1905 because the daughter killed herself in the attic, nobody knows how she killed herself.... only that it was suicide. Also nobody knows exactly where's she's buried because her father buried her and he left no form of grave marker." She finished, letting out a breath.
"Didn't they keep making rooms as a tribute to her though?" This time it was Chef who asked the question.
"They might have if not for the rumored mass murder-suicide that happened not long after Thomas and Cora's daughters death." She replied and was shocked when Chef's eyes widened in surprise. She guessed that Chef didn't know much about the mansion either.
"Who all died?" Mal asked.
"Well there was Cora Flores, Thomas Flores, Mathew Williams and his two sons....... well during the mass murder-suicide it would only be one son because the other died earlier during the Williams stay at the Flores Mansion." She finished letting out another breath of air.
"How did the other son die?" Chris asked.
"People say gunshot wound, but they were basing that on the murder-suicide, so nobody really knows because nobody found the body...... though everyone at the time say he's buried on the Flores Mansion grounds somewhere. " Zoey answered.
"What about the murder-suicide, who killed who?" Chef asked.
"Rumor and what little police files there are say that Thomas Flores took one of his guns, shot his wife in their bedroom, then he went to where Matthew Williams bedroom was and shot him, he did the same thing with the last surviving son. After Thomas killed the boy, he carried the boy to the grounds and buried him next to his brother, again with no form of grave marker. After that Thomas went back to the master bedroom, wrote a suicide note, went to the kitchen, note in hand, grabbed a knife and walked to the attic, hid the note somewhere then slit his throat. When the police arrived they decided it was a clean cut case..... they did search for the boy, both of them but they never found them. Of course some of that is rumors and some of that is from police files." She finished.
"I noticed something, you never once mentioned the Flores daughters name or the Williams boy's names, why?" Mal asked, and she was impressed that he noticed.
"That's because nobody knows their names." Zoey answered, and she had to smile when Mal, Chris, Chef and the unnoticed until now camera crew looked confused.
"Well that's what a scandal would do, the first son was possibly murdered, the daughter killed herself and the second son's name was probably left off the news papers as a respect thing." She answered.
"Is there any pictures or paintings of the Flores daughter or the Williams boy's?" Chris asked.
"As far as anyone knows or thinks, any pictures or paintings were either destroyed or hidden somewhere in the mansion." She replied.
"How old is the place?" Mal asked, the simplest question she had received throughout this history lesson.
"It's 107 years old." Zoey answered.
"Why is it haunted?" Chef asked.
"Well some say that Cora and Matthew are out for revenge, Thomas haunts the attic out of guilt, as for anybody else that has died there.... I guess because of the fact it was a unexpected sudden death." She answered, but she was getting tired of explaining things.
"What about the Flores daughter and the Williams boys?" Chris asked.
" So far the far the rumor is that the three aren't haunting the house or grounds, and the only reason why people say that is because nobody under the age of twenty-five has died there..... well after the house was abandoned then later a tourist spot then later abandoned again." Zoey quickly added the last part because she didn't feel like explaining how people thought that the three weren't haunting the place if nobody knew what they looked like.
"So what, nobody saw three.... seventeen year old ghost walking around?" Mal asked.
"You're right on both accounts, the three were seventeen when they died, and nobody has seen three seventeen year old ghost walking around the place.... only people who are in there twenty's or older." She replied.
"That's all I know." She said, when she saw that they were waiting for her to say something else.
"Well in that case I know something you don't..... since this place has a record of killing off couples, you Mal will have to stay you until the next two to three weeks are up. You might want to tell Mike that." As Chris said this, Zoey's eyes widened, she never heard of that one.
"He already knows." Mal replied, and she turned to glare at him.
"Good now Chef is bringing a four week supply of food and water for you. Here are some backpacks for each of you, they have everything you need to last the next two to three weeks. They also include video cameras with their chargers... it's a good thing that place has electricity and running water. Since this is reality TV I expect you to use those cameras all day from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed." Chris said, and handed the backpacks to them.
"Also you won't need to pack clothes because to make this a little more challenging, you'll be wearing the clothes you find there. And since this place is so dangerous, you two will have to stay within eyesight of each other, as well as share a room. That's all for now, see you in two to three weeks." Before either she or Mal could protest about the last of Chris's instructions, Chef was already leading them to the probably not safe to drive or ride helicopter.
Mike
"Did she let any of you know that she liked stuff that could be ghost related?" Mike asked his other personalities. Manitoba, Svetlana, Vito and Chester. It also confused him when they looked at him like he was an idiot.
"What?" He asked them.
"No, but why would she when you didn't tell her that you had multiple personality disorder." Svetlana answered, and he winced at the answer.
"We have worse things to worry about than Zoey keeping a secret." Manitoba said, Mike looked at him confused.
"What's worse that we should worry about?" He asked Manitoba.
"One: she is staying in a really haunted and dangerous mansion with Mal for two to three weeks, and two: since the mansion is really dangerous they'll have to share a room with each other during that two to three weeks." Manitoba answered.
"Oh I wonder what will happen because if you don't count the ghost and us they're going to be completely alone." Vito commented.
"A boy and a girl sharing a room in a house alone. In my day if you wanted to share a room with a girl, you had either be married or have a death wish because her papa is not going to like you." Chester added with a wave of his fist.
"What are you saying, she's going to cheat on me with Mal?" He asked, feeling betrayed that his personalities thought that.
"Don't listen to those two, you know Zoey wouldn't do that. We're just worried for her, she's going to be in a dangerous mansion with a dangerous boy, and she's going to be by his side twenty-four seven. Now while I don't think Mal would hurt her, he is still dangerous." Svetlana said, trying to ease at least some of Mike's fears and worries.
"Well what do we do?" He asked.
"The only thing we can do is watch." Manitoba answered him, he nodded his head and they all stared at the mirror that Mal had left up so they could watch what was going on outside Mike's head.
Mal
While he and Zoey sat in the helicopter to be dropped off at Flores mansion, he noticed that she would glare at him from time to time. But he really didn't care, he would glance at her from time to time as well...... he didn't glare at her, just looked at her with curiosity in his eyes. (I wonder how and why a goody-two shoes like her, likes something like the Flores mansion. I wonder if Mike knew about this before today?) When he glanced back up at her, he saw that she was staring at him and instead of glaring, she was looking at him with curiosity in her eyes. He stared back at her with the same curiosity, she just shook her head and turned away, after a second he did the same thing. (What was that all about, looks like I'll be questioning her a lot.) About half an hour or so later, Mal felt the helicopter land and he unbuckled his seat belt while Zoey did the same and Chef got out of the flying death machine. After they got everything they needed out of the helicopter, with Chef pushing a wheelbarrow full of boxes of food to last them four weeks, once the three of them got to the gate Chef pushed a button on some remote, and the gate opened....as they walked Mal looked around. (Needs some work but overall not bad.) He looked at the yard that was over growing with weeds and tall grass, and fortunately for them the house looked in great shape too. When the wheelbarrow was on top of the staircase and Chef made sure their video cameras were on, Chef quickly made his way back to the helicopter, when the helicopter was out of sight Mal looked at Zoey.
"You ready?" He asked her, she nodded her head and reached for the door.
