Thursday morning, I thought. At least I'm one step closer to the weekend. I huff out a deep sigh and I begin tapping my fingers on the desk. I watch the clock creep by slowly and I can feel my soul roll it's eyes. This class is dragging by. I'm so caught up in my own world that I fail to hear my teacher call my name.

"Daeji, I need you to read the next section. Daeji?"

My ears snap at attention and I panic slightly but manage to keep cool. I glance over at the next persons book to see the page we're on.

"Are you with us Ms. Daeji?" She snaps.

"Yeah totally. We were just about to advance into World War Two and how the main character was a part of the sex slavery scandal that happened here in Korea." I retort sarcastically.

"I asked for the dialogue not a synopsis. Nice try. We are on page 64 and I highly suggest you follow along closely. " She states.

"Of course Ms. Soohyun."

The bell shrieks through the air and I laugh triumphantly. Definitely saved by the bell! I jump up and grab my books and shove them into my backpack and hurry out of the class. I turn the corner and post up at my locker. Scrolling through my phone, I hear a deep voice say my name. I smile slightly, all too familiar with the husky tone.

"Hello! Earth to Daeji!" He grins.

"Hey dork why'd you take so long? I'm practically 85 and on the verge of retirement." I joke slyly.

He groans as he dramatically tells me all about his advanced calculus class and how the students can't even follow along. He pretends to dread the class but it's all a facade. This boy was smarter then all of the boys in the school put together. He was a next level Albert Einstein and probably the next up and coming prodigy. None of that bothered me though. In fact, I was slightly jealous of his brain.

"Come on Namjoon. Let's blow this popsicle stand." I smile and ruffle his hair gently.
