Hanbin's P.O.V.I can't stay here anymore. What should I do now? I can't face her again in the wedding ceremony. This is reality. Just accept it. My mind warned. I sighed and took my white suit I prepared for Jackson's wedding. I showered and changed into the suit and styled my hair a bit.
Let's do this. I said and went out of my room with the present.
The wedding was happening on the same hotel I stayed so it was easy for me. I pressed the elevator button and waited for it to arrive. The moment the elevator door opens, my heart stopped.
Jun Hee was there with her so called boyfriend. I glared a little at him before getting on the lift. That guy suddenly stepped out of the elevator and said,
"Babe, I forgot my phone in the room. You go, I will see you in the wedding hall." He said and the door closed. Silence fell. It was very suffocating. I feel like my heart will pop out of me in the speed its beating.
I looked at her through the reflection and I can feel her eyes on me. If you don't remember me then why are you watching me like that?
"I didn't see you" She replied that's when I realised I said it out loud. It's so embarrassing.
"I remember you Kim Hanbin" she said. I turned and looked at her in shock. Unbelievable. I didn't reply anything.
"Aren't you gonna ask anything?"
"What's there to ask? I got all your answers yesterday." I said.
"I'm sorry to act like that yesterday. No one knows I was kidnapped in my family except my brother. That's why I have to act like I didn't know you." She said.
"So he is your family?" I asked and hoping her to answer he might be her cousin.
"He is going to be my family soon. He is my fiance" She said breaking all of my hopes.
"Ah congratulations on your marriage." I fake smiled. Even a kid could find it's a fake one. How could I even smile at that moment. My first love ended as an one-sided. I couldn't even get a chance to propose her. Before she could speech more the elevator reached the destination.
"It was nice meeting you again" I said and exited the lift without waiting for her words.
I entered the hall welcomed by the bright Bam Bam guy.
"Hey bro where did you disappear last night?" He asked with a bro hug.
"Just had a headache" I replied and then everything went smooth until those both came into the hall like the wedding couple. That guy took the seat in the hall and Jun Hee ran to the bride. They both disappeared into the room. Finally the wedding ceremony starts with the bridegroom entering the hall wearing a full black tuxedo. To be honest he looked a little handsome.
Then the brides maids appeared with the baskets of lavender flowers. The last brides maid appeared and it was her. Like in the dream she was wearing a beautiful light lavender colored dress. The hairdo looked great on her. Those natural lavender flower crowns made her look like a princess. Every other brides maid wore the same but her beauty made her a gorgeous lady.
Her eyes searched for someone. I thought it must be her fiance but instead her eyes locked with mine. Those dark honey colored eyes were saying me thousands but I couldn't understand her. She looked away soon but that second felt like an infinity to me. During the whole ceremony I caught her looking at me but I didn't know how to react. Before my mind could explode I thought it was better to escape from here. I went straight to the groom and gave my present.
"Congratulations on your wedding bro" I said.
"Thanks man"
"I'm leaving Jack. I got a flight to catch in 2 hours" I said.
"Give me five minutes Hanbin. We have Garter and Bouquet ceremony. You can go after it. It will be fun man and you are the important bachelor candidate." He said. I just nodded and waited for the ceremony to complete.
The bachelors were surrounded and the groom was about to throw the garter and I finally ended up catching it. Same process done with the bride and the person who caught the bouquet was Junhee. I looked at her more that I should. Eventhough this tradition is just for fun nowadays but during olden days it was believed that the couple who catches the Garter and Bouquet will get married next. How I wish that could happen to me! I sighed.
After that the cake was cut and there was a small champagne party. I had a few drinks and excused myself from the party. I bid goodbyes to the wedding couple and some new friends I made yesterday. My eyes never left her till I went out of the hall. In the corner I noticed a instant photo corner with wishes for the wedding couple. I posed for a picture and I wrote 'You looked beautiful today' Yeah that meant for her. I wished she could see mine. I searched for her picture and found it. I saw if anyone was seeing, I confirmed and took her picture and kept it safely in my pocket.
I went to the room and changed into normal clothes and packed for leaving. It was already late. I got only an hour. I reached the airport before the last announcement. Goodbye My Love.
Jun Hee's P.O.V.I watched him writing congratulatory note on the photo he just took. While I tried to concentrate on what my friends were talking, I missed him. He was nowhere to see. I quickly ran to the door and searched him. Nowhere.
I turned with a sad sigh escaping from my lips. I looked at the photo corner and tried to find him and I found him. I took the photo and saw what was written, 'You looked beautiful today' Did he meant that for me? There is no way he would mention that to his friend. If he wrote that message for me, then is it means that he also likes me? Don't over imagine Junhee, it may be just a compliment. I shook my head and took the photo to myself and hid it in my purse. It was the last memory that he was my first love.
Donghyuk came to me,
"Shall we leave?" He asked in a sweet tone. Actually he is a really sweet person. I just didn't like the fact that he proposed me in front of our parents and our parents didn't even care about my opinion and just made us engaged. I hate that. In that moment I couldn't get a proper reason to escape from this arranged marriage. At that time how I wished I could find Hanbin and reject this marriage proposal. I lost his phone number and I didn't know how to meet. It all happened when I was in my first year of my PG degree. They even hurried us to get married but I rejected it thankfully I got one more year to finish. They agreed to it. I thought my brother would oppose the marriage but they became like best friends after I left to Hong Kong to do my studies. What a fate I have? I cursed myself.
Laraine was my classmate. She fell in love with the guest lecturer named Jackson Wang, a alumini of our college who comes to teach us once in a while and they got to know each other and finally they got married. She arranged her marriage just after the graduation. Maybe it all happened to meet him again? Then why should she fall in love with Jackson and why Jackson should be best friends with Hanbin? Only questions remained in my mind.
I bid goodbyes to all my friends and handed over my present to the couple and exited the hall with Donghyuk. We packed the luggages and on the way to the airport.
It was a sign that I should put a full stop to my first love. It's not gonna happen. My future is sitting beside me not Hanbin. I sighed and closed my eyes remembering the short memory but strong memory I shared with Hanbin. Goodbye to my first love.
Hey sweeties... How are you all doing? Hope you liked this chapter. It was kind of sad. We need some drama that's why. Don't worry happiness is on the way. Which couple you like? Han-Hee or Dong-Hee I personally prefer Han-Hee. They are just so cute. Will see you guys in the next update :) Love ya all - VJ <3
