Chapter - 38

Junhee's P.O.V.

"Binnie where are we going?" I asked to my boyfriend who is concentrating on roads.

"Junhee you are asking this for 23rd time today. Can't you wait for some more?" Hanbin said still his eyes on roads.

"And you didn't answer me for 23rd time" I mumbled and turned to window pouting a little. I heard Hanbin chuckling a little. I didn't turn and keep my concentration on road. Wait! why this route seems familiar to me? Hanbin halted the car and I realised it was my house.

"Hanbin why are we here?" I turned to him.

"Why would we be here? Of course to meet your dad" Hanbin said and got off from the car.

To be honest I was really afraid to meet my dad. Yeah I was angry at him but I did many things that must have made him disappointed. I didn't get down and was seated on the car thinking of my life decisions.

Hanbin tapped on the windows which gained back my attention. I looked at him blankly. He gestured me to lower the window glass. I did as he said.

"I know you must be nervous. But we have to do it one day and let that day be today" He said and smiled warmly at me. I took a deep breath and unlocked my seat belt.

I opened the door and Hanbin groaned in pain. Oh my god I must've hit him. I became concerned and looked into him.

"Hanbin-ah are you okay?" I asked him with full of worry. He suddenly turned to me and gave a big smile. That's when I realised he was pulling a prank. I was surprised for a moment and hit him with my  wallet.

"Did you know how much I was worried?" I said still hitting him.

"Ouch ouch... It hurts Junhee. I'm sorry okay" He said trying to block my hits. I stopped for a moment and started laughing. He looked at me confused and joined my laughter. He suddenly took my hands into his and intertwined his fingers with mine.

My smile froze on my lips and looked at him. He bent down to my eye level and placed a small kiss on my nose. His small action widen my smile more.

"Hope your nervousness reduced a little" He said. I just nodded shyly and walked with him towards my house.

We rang the bell and waited patiently for someone to open the door. House maid opened the door and smiled warmly at us. I slowly took steps into the house holding to Hanbin's hands tightly. Dad was sitting on living room's couch. He became so lean than the last time I saw him. He turned to see us and smiled a little and asked, "Are you finally back my pumpkin pie?" That was the moment I just ran to my dad and hugged him so tightly.

"I'm sorry dad for leaving you. I'm really sorry." I said and started crying in his arms.

He patted my back and said, "I'm sorry too princess. I didn't understand my daughter's heart. Will you forgive your father?" He asked. I nodded and smiled a little. My dad turned to Hanbin and mouthed something. I didn't ask that time and saved it for later.

I turned to Hanbin and asked him to come near. "Dad, This is Kim Hanbin. My boyfriend and ...." I paused for a while. My father looked at me to finish, "My soon to be husband" I said and blushed a little.

"Oh my! my pudding is all grown up now" He said and I looked at Hanbin who is laughing at me. I turned to dad and whispered "Dad can you please stop using food names?" 

"Why it's good and it suits you a lot?" He said and laughed.

"Appa, Do I look like Pumpkin pie and Pudding to you?" I asked. My dad answered, "Not now but you really looked like that when you were younger."
