*Early Evening (Thanksgiving)*
"Mashed potato's... check... Turkey... check... string beans... check... Mac and Cheese... WhErEs ThE MaC aNd ChEeSe?!"
"Relax Bex... it's still in the oven." Bowie said throwing a towel over his shoulder. "Thanksgiving is nothing more then a large dinner over football."
"You haven't grown up with Celia's thanksgivings..." Bex said. "Thanksgiving at... when Celia lived here, was nothing more as a way to try to one up her judgmental sister."
"No football?"
"Nope..."
"No s'mores in the fire pit?"
"Non..."
"Dang... well Bex, I'll make it my mission to give you a great thanksgiving."
"Good. We'll be fine as long as the guests don't arrive too early."
*Ding Dong*
"Which they are... oh..."
"I got it!" Andi said as she popped off the couch. She opened the door revealing Cyrus holding a covered pie, Tj holding a covered pan and Cyrus' parents standing behind them.
"Me and Tj tried our hand at making a pie... I don't know how it went." Cyrus said. Andi let the Goodman's through the door and Bex took the food.
"Did you not taste the pie filling when you made it?"
"No..."
"Why..."
"I was attacked with whip cream..."
"Gross..."
"THE FOOD ANDI THE FOOD!!" Cyrus exclaimed. Tj chuckled.
"Good one Andi." He said.
"I try... Hey! There's some video games down in the basement that Bowie bought, anyone trying to be dominated at FIFA."
"Step aside Andi, your looking at the master of FIFA." Tj said. Andi rolled her eyes.
"Right... your only practice is Cyrus."
"CAN I PLEASE GET A BREAK... IM GREAT AT FIFA!" Cyrus exclaimed.
"Mmmhmm..."
————————————
Andi, Cyrus, Tj, and Now Ali decided to walk to the park because things got a little stuffy at the house. Andi saw it a good time to meet up with Daniel and Jonah.
"We're going to the park." Ali said. "But you didn't exactly specify which one..."
"There's only one park in my entire neighborhood A." Andi said.
"Really!? I could have invited Nico if I had known that."
"Wait, you and Nico are a thing?" Cyrus said with surprise. "But I thought you and Ma-"
"Things change Cyrus..."
"Apparently..."
"Cyrus!" Tj called. "The swings... they're missing."
"Wait what? Why?" Cyrus said. He jogged over to where Tj was standing out side the box the swings used to be in.
"They're swings... why are they so upset about it." Ali whispered over to Andi. Andi raised her eyebrows.
"You don't know? Wait, if course you wouldn't... well, this is or was where Cyrus and Tj really connected for the first time. This was the spot where they first started dating back in June."
"I guess they weren't just swings..."
"How is my wonderfully artistic girlfriend doing?" A voice said from behind Andi and Ali. Andi immediately shot around recognizing the voice. She immediately wrapped Daniel in a hug. Jonah jogged up shortly after.
"Vas happening?"
"Those two are busy loving each other and those two are crying with each other so... not much." Ali said making Jonah laugh.
"Wait... why are Cyrus and Tj upset?"
"The swings were removed..."
"Oh... that does mean a lot to them."
"So I've been told."
"Guys." Andi said. "Bex said to come back home because dinner is finally ready."
"Sweet." Daniel said. Andi raised an eyebrow.
"Didn't you already eat?"
"Yeah... But seconds never hurt."
——————————
"Mhm! This stuffing tastes amazing Bowie." Gabriel said in between chews.
"Thanks, one of my dad's many secret recipes."
"Can you let me in on the secret?" Ham said.
"Maybe... only family can know, so..."
Ham smirked.
"I see..."
The front door opens revealing Andi, Ali, Cyrus, Jonah and Tj. Gabriel immediately froze. The group of kids enter the kitchen.
"Bowie, this looks amazing!" Tj said eyeing the spread.
"Thanks."
Jonah grabbed his food and left the room not saying a word to Gabriel. Not even a smile.
"This will never work out Bowie... he won't even look at me."
Bowie, attention narrowed into his food, looked up with an eyebrow raised.
"What? Who are you talking about?"
"Jonah, he won't even acknowledge my existence." Gabriel said in a sigh.
"Just give him time... he'll come round."
"I try..."
"Trying is a lot different then doing." Ham said. "What even caused Jonah to ignored you like this?"
"He kinda knows I'm his dad..."
"What?" Ham said. "This again..."
"Yeah, things went down hill from there..."
"Well, I think you should give home the space and Bowie will tell you when it's a good time to talk to him."
"That'll work." Gabriel said. "Allows me to focus on finding a home outside of my parents."
"Theres some apartments that have opened up in a near by neighborhood." Bowie said.
"Really! I'll look there. The only place I found was by a church."
"And what's wrong with that."
"What happens when I stub my toe or spill hot coffee on my self. What am I supposed to yell."
"Your stupid." Bowie said in chuckle.
"What? I'm being honest."
