"What was your first pet?" Cyrus asked looking up from the tween magazine questionnaire.
"A cat." Tj answered. "His name was Riley."
Cyrus raised an eyebrow.
"What happened to Riley?"
"Passed away when I started 5th grade. My dad wouldn't say why."
Cyrus jumped to the next question, avoiding awkward silence.
"What was yo-"
"Cyrus." Tj started cutting him off. "Why are you reading that magazine?"
"I want to learn more about you." Cyrus answered. "And I'm bored."
"I'm right here." Tj answered slyly.
"Ha ha. Well... more time to beat you at FIFA."
Cyrus and Tj got into a small argument about who was the best FIFA player. Only stopped by the doorbell. Tj looked around the corner and saw Reed and Zach with shovels in their hands. Sighing, Tj answered the door, only because Cyrus' parents were at work.
"Tj!" Reed said. "Didn't expect to shovel your driveway."
"Uhhh..." Zach said. "Actually it's Cyrus' drive way."
"Oh..." Reed smirked. "I see."
"What are we gonna do with him." Zach said. Tj shrugged. "Well, we could use the help of you two. Wanna tag along?"
"Yeah!"
"Sounds fun!"
Cyrus and Tj threw on their snow gear, grab some shovels and marched outside. Reed laughed as they walked out.
"You really got the Eskimo look down huh Cyrus?" Reed said with a laugh. Tj shot him a look causing Reed to retract his statement. "Because you can never be to prepared. Come on, there's a house two a block down thats not shoveled."

Andi knocked on the door of the Driscoll's. She decided to check on Buffy as she hadn't responded to any texts since Marty left yesterday afternoon. Jonah also tagged along.
"Hello Andi, Jonah." Mrs. Driscoll greeted. "What brings you out in the snow."
Mrs. Driscoll motioned Andi and Jonah to come inside.
"We came to see Buffy. Is she home?"
"Yes... she hasn't left her room unless it's for food or water. Please make your self at home. You know where her room is."
Andi and Jonah slipped their coats off and make their way to Buffy's room. The candle burning in the foyer made the whole house smell of cinnamon apple. They opened the door to Buffy's room. Finding Buffy hanging off the edge of her bed.
"How long have you been like that?" Andi asked. Buffy shrugged.
"It's called letting your feelings drain Andi." said Jonah. "Get cultured."
"Jonah what?"
"He's not wrong... it kinda works." Buffy said sitting up.
"Buffy... it's fine. You two are still together at the end of the day right?" Andi stated sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Yeah... but it's common knowledge that long distance doesn't work."
Andi let out a sigh... she was fighting a loosing battle.
"Buffy I would like to get you something." Andi said. She pulled out a wood box out of her bag. The box was made of cherry wood and had wavy carvings on the top.
