What A School Year (A continuation of 'What A Summer')

Is This A... Date?

Third person (A week later)

Another week come and gone... one of those mundane weeks you don't remember much. Andi. Cyrus and Jonah was busy with the musical. Buffy was busy with track. Marty attended both of her indoor meets that week. Daniel, Kip and Tj were busy with skating, so no time was made for anyone to plan, meet up, or go on dates.

The only time the group was together was on Friday at Buffy and Jonah's hall of fame induction along with other people. The ceremony was quite underwhelming to say the least but Marty still took a bunch of pictures and made it very clear how proud he was to be her Boyfriend, no matter how much it embarrassed Buffy. Jonah was just happy they gave him the award after that fight with Gus.

As for Ali and Matias... they hadn't spoke to each other all week... she felt so bad... (even though she didn't show it) when doing things that she used to do with Matias. Music class also began to drag more and more each day... music reminded her of Matias... yet she still did it anyway. Ali browsed Cd's at the music store on Saturday like she always did. Saturday music store trips was a thing she used to do with Matias.

The door rang, and in came Jonah and Matias trailing behind. Jonah usually stops in to talk to Bowie for a minute or two before heading back out again. Ali ducked for cover to make sure Matias didn't see her, carefully choosing a spot that wouldn't obstruct her view of the two. Ali observed he way Matias acted around Jonah. He was relaxed and soft eyed... which was drastically different from the Matias that usually stumbled upon his words when talking to her.

Ali couldn't help but feel jealous...

Jonah and Matias eventually left and Ali stood up from her hiding spot to see Bowie laughing at her.

"What are you doing down their?" He asked with a chuckle. Ali laughed awkwardly.

"The test track got too lit is all..."

"Alright Ali..." Bowie said. "If you want to catch up with Andi, she's at the spoon."

"I'll consider it."

"This week is going to be the worst..." Walker said dropping his head toward the table. Buffy took a sip of her milk shake.

"Really... it's the week of Halloween? What's so bad about that?" Buffy asked.

"Because... I'm always booked on Halloween to do spooky caricatures in the park filled with little kids and rowdy teens." Walker said. "Last year some kid knocked down my canvas while I was drawing. Ruined the whole thing."

Tj looked up at the ceiling and whistled. He never knew it was Walker who's canvas he ruined.

"It was you wasn't it!" Walker said catching on.

"Sorry.."

"Ugh!" Walker groaned dropping his head to the table again.

"Come on dude it's not that bad." Cyrus said. "Besides you get paid in the end."

"The money counts for a small amount of my misery."

"Hey guys!" Jonah said walking into the spoon, Matias closely followed.

"Why don't you look at that... Jonah and Mat... here... together..." Andi said mockingly. Jonah looked unamused.

"Well we always have a meet up here and Mat needed something to do so I invited him to come with."

"No need to explain Jonah." Andi said. Amber eventually emerged from the kitchen.

"Can I take you guy's orders?" She asked. Amber was seen in a softer light by most of the group... especially Kip. She had definitely changed for the better.
