Zara's POV
"Brett?!" I gasped as he walked into the room.
"In the flesh." He stated as he walked closer.
"I-I thought you were dead." I stated as I walked over touching him to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. "You're real." I stated.
"Yes, I am," He laughed as he hugged me.
"You two hybrids know each other?" He questioned.
"Yes, we played lacrosse together." I stated. "And we were kinda in Scott's pack together till I thought he died."
"What a sporty little hybrid, I was never much into sports." He stated as he walked around the house.
"Wait you're a hybrid too?" I questioned as I turned to look at Brett. "You're one too?" He questioned.
"I'm a vamp witch." I stated, "a newly witch and vampire, I haven't learned much yet." "Me too, Niklaus fed me his blood after he found me and viola."
"Well I kinda was reborn in a fire." I stated not knowing how to explain it.
"So, what did you bring me here for?" I questioned and turned to look for Klaus but, he wasn't there.
"So you said you're a witch?" Elijah questioned.
"Yeah a very new witch, I don't really know any spells." I said as I let out a huff and sat on the step.
"That's a shame, that pretty little head of yours probably retains things pretty fast." He stated.
"Well I haven't been around anyone who really knew of witches till now," I stated, "I might have Bonnie help me,"
"I could give you a spell book." He stated as he walked over, I looked at him questioningly,
"Our mother, she was a witch, a very powerful one," He stated "I have some of her spell books you could use."
"There's no need," I started
"I want to." He stated as he walked away presuming he was going to find the old books.
"Is he always so persistent?" I questioned as I tilted my head to look at Brett.
"Yeah but you'll get used to it." He said as he shrugged and started to walk away.
"Little love," He started "I brought you here so I could teach you two together." He stated.
"What else is there to teach?" I questioned.
"Well I think it's almost dinner time right, hybrids." He stated as he walked to the door, "Let's go have some fun." He said as he grabbed my arm on his way pulling me behind me, "Klaus, not again." I stated as my arm started to hurt. "I'm sorry, love, I'll have to learn, just for you." He said as he pulled me closer to him and kissed the top of my head.
"Talbot, you too." He said as he waved him over.
"Where are we going, I asked?"
"You'll see when we get there, love" He stated as he drove. I heard brett scoff from the back seat as Klaus' hand made its way to my thigh.
"Klaus," I started, but his hand remained in the same position, "Niklaus" I stated. His hand still didn't move he just looked over at me, I picked up his hand and moved over to this own lap, but, he still insisted. "Niklaus, please."
"Fine, fine," He put his hand in the air in defence, "but that's not what you'll be saying later." He replied nonchalantly and kept on driving.
I think I'm sitting in the back on the way home, I thought to myself.
