Zara's POV

"Well, good morning, love." Klaus said as he glanced over at me from his easel. "Oh, so you're an artist now." I scoffed as I pulled the sheets closer to my body. "Always have, always will." He replied cockily, "There's many things you don't know about me, love." He said as he walked over to me. "Yeah, like what," I teased as I climbed on top of him straddling his legs. "That's for another day, another time." He whispered as he closed the gap between us. I pulled back to bite into his neck as he bit into my wrist. We kissed again tasting each other's blood.

"Niklaus, we found your hybrid," Elijah said as he walked in on us. "Sorry if I'm interrupting your activities Niklaus." He stated as he stood waiting in the door way, "I'll just go shower." I stated as I stood up and walked into the bathroom as Nik got up and walked toward Elijah.

Klaus' POV

"We found Brett but there's some bodies to clean up, we need to flip that humanity switch soon." Elijah stated, "And I think Zara is the only one that can." I finished with a sigh.

Zara came out of the bathroom with a towel searching for something to wear in her bag. Once she founded what she wanted she dropped the towel and got dressed letting my eyes linger over her body. "Why don't you take a picture it'll last longer," she scoffed as she pulled her shirt over her head. She wore a band tee that was tied up with high waisted jeans.

"Can you take me to Brett?" She asked as she walked around my easel to the door. "If you won't I'll just have Elijah do it." She shrugged as she crossed her arms.

Zara's POV

"Fine, I just don't want you getting hurt." He fathomed, "Nik I'm okay I'm a hybrid like you. I can take care of myself." I huffed as I looked up at his tall stature standing over me. "Then I guess you don't need me to teach you how to get around this lifestyle." He shrugged as he walked out the door, "fine I'll get Elijah then." I hollered as I walked down the steps to find the older brother. "Aha Elijah there you are." I said as I walked into a rather big room and he was sitting on the couch. "How can I help you?" He asked as he stood up and walked over to me, "can you take me to Brett?" I asked, "Niklaus is mad so you're the next best thing." I explained, "I see how it is." He laughed as he led me upstairs to the room Brett was apparently kept in. "You know what to do?" He asked as he unlocked it, "yeah, anything it takes right?" I questioned, "at this point, yes." He stated as he handed me a little cup of blood to bribe him with.

"Hey Brett," I said as he growled pulling at the chains his arms were held with. "Now, we have to get her humanity back on, huh." I stated, "I'm not doing it Lori isn't here with me it's not fair." He yelled, "maybe we could." I stated as he perked up. "I'm not making any promises but it's possible." I explained, "if you can't promise me it's not happening," he tried reasoning as he growled. "Well I then I guess you won't want this blood." I shrugged as I poured it onto the floor and he pulled at the chains. "What if I did this?" I asked as I walked closer to him and straddled his lap. "Like old times, yeah?"

Klaus' POV

I heard growling so I went to the source. It was Brett, Elijah was standing outside the room watching. "What are you watching, brother?" I asked as I walked closer, "Zara" he said simply. "What do you mean, Zara." I said angrily as I saw her in there with him, sitting on his lap. "Like old times, yeah?" I heard her say as she leaned down to kiss him. "After lacrosse practice," she whispered, and she grazed her teeth against his earlobe. "In the locker rooms," she whispered even quieter. "I'd do this, " she explained as she put her arms around his neck and played with the hairs at the nape of his neck. "And you'd do this." She stated as she reached up to free his arms from the restraints. "Zar-" I started before Elijah put his hand over my mouth. "Brother it's working leave them be." He stated, she freed his arms from the restraints and put his hands on her hips. Brett watched her intently, as she kissed him his hands went to her butt, his eyes closed and opened. "Zara, Zara, what are you doing." He asked her as she pulled away realized what had happened. "I was just turning your humanity back on." She explained as she stood up, annoyed and walked out. Elijah threw him a bag of blood.
