Shiro puts his hand on the top and it burns a hole in the roof. I am still confused as to what is happening. He then picks me up and slide me out.
"You're Galra, you have claws. Get into the room that the elevator is stopped at. Once there, claw your way to the elevator. A big enough whole for me and Lance to fit in. The walls are to thick for me to melt" Shiro explains.
"O- ok" I say and start clawing. The elevator falls a little and I grab it. One claw I in the wall and the other is holding the elevator.
To continue clawing, I wrap my tail around the wire. Shiro tries burning a bigger hole so him and Lance can climb out, but every movement makes the elevator slip.
If it falls, it will be my fault. I can't let that happen. I won't let that happen.
I inch my way to the elevator. I claw at it and rhe while gets a little bigger. Lance and Shiro weren't able to fit through it though.
"Keith, you're bleeding" Lance says worriedly. I look at my paws?, and see that he's right.
"I don't care, I have to save you" I say and keep scratching.
"Keith, Keith stop" Shiro yells.
"No, you'll die" I cry.
"It's ok" Shiro smiles. The elevator slips further, so I pull it up a little.
"Maybe I can lower you slowly" I say hopefully. I try lowering them but the elevator doesn't take my weight into consideration.
"Keith, let go" Shiro smiles.
"What? N- no" I cry.
"There is no way we are getting out of here. The crew won't be able to get that door open in time. So either we all die or just Lance and I. Keith, I love you and I won't let you die" Shiro says.
"I will get you out" j say and start clawing again. Lance is soon able to climb through. I keep clawing but I loose grip on the elevator for a second.
The elevator behind to free fall. I try to grab for it but Lance grabs me.
"SHIRO" I scream. The elevator crashes and I sob into Lance. We are still hanging on the wire.
"Keith, can you get me out of here" he whispers. I nod start climbing to a nearby panel. I kick it through and Lance climbs in with me. We get out and I fall to the floor.
"Keith, you're hurt" Lance says. He tries to pick me up but I stand on my own.
Before he can say anything, I run to the stairs. I run all the way to the bottom floor and open the elevator. There is a see Shiro trapped under rubble. Maybe he's alive.
I run and take the rubble off of him. I throw him on my back and run to the healing pods. I put him in one and it shows that he is still alive.
"Shiro" I cry. Suddenly, I am put into a healing pod as well.
