Hey guys!

I know a lot of you were expecting a Halloween book but I'm afraid that's on a delay as I've got a bit of writers block on it. It'll be released either in a couple of months or in October 2019.

Sorry about that...😞

BUT, hopefully this'll make up for it. This book is pure, endless fluff and basically no extra drama.

Like if you've read the @probablythelastpilot's books, you'll know that the ones about Adrien and Marinette are just one cute moment after another, no jealous fangirls or jerk boys included.

Just pure, endless fluff with a sprinkling of humor.

*Also, if you follow me, make sure to turn on messages for the message board. That's where I put all my info, like when I'm going to update next and the occasional opinion question for you guys.*

When Marinette Dupain-Cheng started 5th grade, she didn't expect to meet someone who would change her life forever.

And she certainly never anticipated that that someone would be Adrien Agreste.

Of course, she was a fan of his father's work but she had never heard much about Adrien other than the fact that he modeled for Gabriel's company.

Naturally, she assumed he'd be exactly like the school's spoiled little princess, Chloe Bourgeois. They were even friends, how was she to know that he wasn't another rich kid who thought that he was above everyone else?

So she never talked to him much.  Just watched from afar as he created friendships and laughed with Nino.

He seemed kind but she never realized the full extent of his caring heart.

Occasionally, Marinette would do something embarrassing or trip into Adrien's arms and he'd tease her a bit. Or sometimes, he'd drop his supplies and she'd kindly help him pick them up.  But, overall, they were nothing more than classmates and barely knew anything about the other besides names and an overview of the other's personality. Their siblings might have been best friends but at most Adrien and Marinette were classified as nothing more than classmates.

That was until her teacher reassigned their seats in November.  Because now she sat at a table with Alix, Ivan, and Adrien.  And the latter sat directly in front of her.

So they got to know each other a bit as they sat together and Marinette found herself more and more excited to go to school with every passing day. Although they weren't quite friends, the two certainly got along better than they did with most other people, especially Adrien.

And no, she hadn't recognized her feelings for what they were. Yet.

But as Marinette grabbed her cute, pink, full sleeves shirt, blue jeans, and black boots that cold morning in early December, she did not care about the past. She only pondered what would happen that day, excited at the prospect to see all her friends and classmates.

She zoomed down the stairs, sliding on the banister, and hugged her mother from behind while grabbing a croissant at the same time. Eating half in one go, she chewed until she was able to speak, putting her hand over mouth so as not to let crumbs fly out.

"Good morning, Maman!  Where's Papa?"

Her mother, Sabine, chuckled at the young girl, reaching out to wipe her daughter's mouth.  "Papa had to leave a little early today.  He asked me to wish you a happy day at school."
