"Just this way Britney's" I guide the two girls into the main room of lux and I walk over to Lucifer. "Love, I brought the 'after, after party" I say smirking and I sit down next to him.
"Oh! Hello there!" Lucifer says looking to the two girls. "Well lucifer? Meet Britney and Britney" I say gesturing to the girls standing on either side of me and just as I'm about to continue my phone buzzes.
"Oh it's... detective decker" I say confused and I open the message. "Looks like we've got a murder" I say standing up.
"Oh well can't it wait!" Lucifer says and I raise an eyebrow. "Probably not" I say signaling the Britney to go sit somewhere else.
"Well he's already dead- it's not like he's going anywhere" Lucifer says and I hum.
"Come on, I can't be slacking now we officially work with Chloe" I say grabbing his arm and I drag him towards the exit and Maze stops us just before we can leave.
"Where are you two off to?" She asks crossing her arms suspiciously.
"Work-"
"Not you too Emily, you can't really think you work for the police" she says and I shrug.
"For, with, against. All the same to me. We just need to be there" I say pushing past her and pulling Lucifer out to the car.
I drive to the address provided by Chloe and it's some sort of storage unit.
"Bloody hell, what's this dump?" I say when I get out and see the dead body, it looks like it's definitely seen better days.
"Well he looks like a blueberry on cocaine..." I say seeing how purple he is, it looks like someone gave him a full body bruise.
"That blueberry has a name, Erwin Scovell, he worked security here for twenty years... died from asphyxiation" Chloe says walking up behind me and lucifer and lucifer sighs seeming bored.
"Ugh... I'd probably want to be strangled if I had to work here for twenty years" Lucifer says looking around.
"We think this spot was used to deal and store illegal contraband, somethings missing so he probably just walked in on a robbery in progress and was just unlucky" she says and I crouch down to the body.
"Well that's a bit boring... no drug lords in the area? No Illegal Prostitution?" I ask as I flick the dead mans cheek making his head slump to one side.
"It's a dead body... have some respect for a minute, Emily" Chloe says and I stand up rolling my eyes.
"You humans are so attached to everything. I couldn't change a lightbulb without hurting someone's feelings. This old lump is probably in the silver city enduring a welcome speech from Lucifer's brother, I'm sure he couldn't care less what happens to his body now" I say and Chloe looks to me with irritation clear in her expression.
