"Jungkook! Come on!" Taehyung yelled from the other side of the road. I giggled and ran across the road like a child only to trip and fall into Taehyung. We both burst out laughing as I pushed myself off of him.
"Where are we going?" I asked dusting myself off and helping Taehyung up. "It's a place I go when I want to think." Taehyung mumbled opening the gate next to him.
He continued to guide me down to the tracks. "Wait Taehyung students aren't allowed on these tracks." I mumbled realizing exactly where he was leading me. "Yeah I know the stories they tell you." He mumbled walking past a junk car.
The trail we were following opened up to a small building. "This used to be the place they would communicate with the trains." He mumbled prying open the door.
I expected the door to the old building to be sealed shut and hard to open but it looked as if it was easy. Taehyung wasn't lying in saying he would come here often.
"Didn't a boy die on the tracks?" I asked shivering. Despite it being a sunny day inside the building was cold and dark. The inside of the building was actually very beautiful once Taehyung turned on the lights.
On one end of the building was a couch and a tv. He even had a game console attached to the tv. On the other side he had a micro wave and a mini fridge with a blow up mattress on the floor. I notice a pile of clothes in the corner.
"It's kinda surprising that this place still has electric." Taehyung mumbled awkwardly. I smiled. "I love what you've done with it." I mumbled collapsing on the couch. He smiled and sat with me. "Thanks." He mumbled.
My smile faded as I saw just how much this place looked used, between the pile of clothes or the door easily being opened. "Taehyung do you live here?" I asked. His smiled faded as well.
"Ah no, I will come spend a couple of days here but no I don't officially live here." He mumbled. I nodded and smiled. "What do you do here?" I ask. "Think. Mostly." He mumbled staring out at the tracks. "I walk the tracks and just think." He mumbled again.
"Let's go then." I mumbled standing up. He chuckled and stood up as well.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me out to the tracks. We both balanced on the metal rails and began to walk. "You know what's strange?" He asked as we continued to walk. "What?" I asked. He chuckled. "The stories you hear about these tracks are almost never true." He mumbled. "Really?" I asked my eyes going wide in confusion.
"Yeah. Only one has ever been proven true." He mumbled. "Ooh which one?" I asked feeling curiosity pool in my stomach. He chuckled at my giddy smile. "Do you want me to tell you to terrifying story?" He made a 'scary' face and followed his question with an 'ooh' sound.
I laughed and nearly fell over. "Yes please!" I giggled. He chuckled but his smile soon faded.
"A young boy, he was probably two or three. His father took him and his sister down to the train tracks to watch the trains pass by. The boy loved the trains." He paused and looked out at the end of the railroad.
"The mother had just gotten off work and the happy two year old boy grabbed at his mothers hand. Later a train approached. As a typical two year old the boy wandered off to watch the train but wasn't watching where he was going. He ran out onto the tracks." Suddenly his words became sadder, every word weighted more than the last.
"The mother was scared of the oncoming train and she sprinted to her son standing on the tracks knocking him out of the way. The train couldn't stop." I stared at Taehyung.
As the story itself was sad but he seemed to be taking it to heart. "What happened to the mother? And the son?" I asked eager to find out what went down. I hadn't heard this story.
"The mother died, the son sat in the grass watching the train pass by." He mumbled. I reached over across the tracks and grabbed Taehyung's hand. He smiled and looked at me.
"Catch me if you can." He chuckled. "What?" I asked just as he tore his hand from mine and ran ahead running in the middle of the railroad. I giggled and chased after him.
"Taehyung!" I called out making him throw his head back in laughter. "Taehyung slow down!" I yelled again. Finally he skidded to a stop and I came crashing in behind him.
He giggled and caught me smiling this adorable boxy smile. "Can't help but fall for me can you?" He giggled at his own joke. I slapped him in the arm rolling my eyes. "Crazy boy."
I mumbled jokingly. He smiled and helped me stand straight up. My phone buzzed in my back pocket catching my attention. "Uh oh." I mumbled as I pulled it out.

"What?" Taehyung asked from beside me. "I'm sorry but I've gotta go!" I mumbled. "Oh." He mumbled looking at the ground. I smiled to him and patted his hand.
"I'll text you okay Hyung?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. With that I ran back the same way we came.
"Where have you been? Why haven't you been answering my calls? Do you know how worried I was?"
Jin yelled through the phone. I huffed as I had just been running down to the street the boys and I lived on. "I'm sorry Jin Hyung I was with a friend." I mumbled.
"Was it that kid from the coffee shop?"
I heard Jin breathe a sigh of relief that I was okay. "Yes Hyung his name is Taehyung." I mumbled.
"Jungkook, let's talk about this when you get home."
I knew I was in trouble. I sighed and agreed knowing I don't have the energy currently. He made a pleased hum before hanging up the phone.
I stuffed my phone back in my pocket and picked up my pace back to a run.
