Jungkook's P.O.V
He was late. Why? I sighed as Jin patted my back. "Come on Kook we have to go otherwise we will be late." Yoongi mumbled. "Yeah I'll catch up with you later guys." I mumbled feeling worry creep up into my head. They nodded before starting the car. I watched them drive away until I couldn't see them. I ran back inside and grabbed my hoodie. I threw it on and pulled up my hood.
I don't want people to know I'm skipping. I ran out of the house and down the sidewalk. When I reached the turn in I saw it easily. The small trail had become familiar. I noticed fresh footprints in the wet mud. I picked up my pace to a jog and navigated the trail quickly and easily. I reached the train tracks in no time.
I could hear some rustling come from inside the small building.
Is that hissing?
I noticed that the door was already swung open. I creeped up to it making sure not to make a single noise. I slowly leaned passed the door to see inside.
"Damn." He mumbled. I watched as he wrapped a large bandage around his waist. His shirt was off and I could see all of the cuts and bruises from before.
I recalled the first time I saw him with his shirt off and, now seeing the image in my head, I saw the busies and cuts I didn't see during that time. I slowly stood up and walked towards him.
"Taehyung." I whispered. He turned around with wide eyes. "Oh shit Jungkook I'm so sorry I forgot!" He exclaimed tearing off the bandage and sticking it to his stomach. He grabbed a nearby shirt. "Shit you're probably late, I'm so sorry." He was so frantic.
"W-What happened?" I asked. He froze. "Nothing Jungkook. Let's just get you to school." He moved past me towards the door. I stood watching him. He winced as he walked. "Come on Jungkook." He mumbled his voice sounding weak.
"Sit down." I mumbled he stared at me. "No we need to-" I cut him off. "Taehyung sit down." I growled. He closed his eyes and sighed. He slowly walked over to the couch and laid down on it.
I walked over to him and rose his shirt. He squirmed but didn't try to stop me. I slowly opened the bandage that was terribly wrapped.
He was ripped. I forgot about that part. My entire body froze upon seeing him shirtless again.
He's hurt Jungkook get your shit together.
I looked past how hot he looked and saw the pain underneath.
New large bruises were forming on his ribs. I saw long deep gashes that continued to spit blood.
"If you had walked any more you would have passed out." I mumbled. He nodded closing his eyes. He bit his lip preparing for pain and I hesitated again.
Damn he looks amazing.
I thought.
Not now Jungkook! Goddamn.
I growled at myself moving to get the bandages. I slowly rewrapped
Them properly and applied pressure with a cloth to attempt to stop the bleeding. That's how this works right?
He winced and whined a lot due to the pain. "I'm sorry." I mumbled kissing his forehead. I slowly helped him sit up.
"Thank you Jungkook." He mumbled. I smiled my famous bunny smiled and he smiled back. "You look like an adorable bunny." He mumbled poking my puffed out cheek.I giggled and nodded. "That's the point! It's a bunny smile!" I exclaimed smiling again so he could see. He chuckled and rest his head on my shoulder. "My adorable bunny." I smiled at his words.
"Taehyung what happened?" I asked as I brought him hot soup I had just received from the store. "First thank you for going to get this, you didn't have to. Second it's a really long story." He mumbled sitting back down on the couch.
He was more mobile now, it seemed he was used to this. "It's fine I have time." I chuckled. He grinned and shook his head. "Crazy boy, I have enough problems I've laid on you. Your turn." He turned to face me on the couch.
"Oh." I mumbled turning to face him too. He smiled.
What will he think of me?
I stirred the soup around with my spoon, hesitating. "Its okay if you don't want to tell me anything Jungkook." He mumbled. "No it's only fair. I'm just trying to figure out how to say it." I sighed.
"A mother and son got taken away from the father. He was an alcoholic. The mom began to drink after that because she was upset at losing her husband. Both of them felt their son was the problem. The mother remarried a lot of times, all to men who didn't really care about the son. The father was never heard from again. Soon the son was pushed so far into a corner he didn't talk to eat for days. Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into years. The boy slowly faded away."
I stared off lost in my thoughts. "You are the son aren't you Jungkook?" He spoke pulling me away from looking at the ground. I stared up at him and nodded slowly. "I'm really sorry about that." He mumbled looking down into his soup.
"It's okay really. My story has a happy ending. I found Yoongi Hyung and the others. And now." I paused and looked down at my soup blushing. "I found you." I mumbled.
His face brightened. "And I found you Jungkook." He chuckled scooping his soup into his mouth. I chuckled and nodded following his actions.
"Jungkook. I don't think I'm going to make it out of this alive."
