~17 years after the Birth~

Alys and Aegon, grew up as Arabella and Jon, children of Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell. The only people who knew the truth of their parentage were the nurses that came back with the twins, Eddard Stark, and Catelyn Tully Stark.

The twins were allowed to stay, however they were raised separately. Aegon, Jon, was considered the bastard of Winterfell. He was still older than his sister and the second oldest of the wolf pack (kids), but he was never told of his true parents. Jon was a Snow, and no one at the castle (mind a few people) would let him forget it. As Jon grew up his black hair stayed the same, but much to Ned's luck his eyes had darkened to an almost brown color with little flecks of the Targaryen purple floating around.

Alys, or now known as Arabella, was raised as a true Stark away from her brother. Though there was never any way to deny that she looked and acted exactly like her mother minus her eye and hair colors. While Lyanna hair was black and her eyes a dark brown, Arabella had very light golden brown hair and light purple eyes with thankfully enough they looked almost blue. Arabella's birthday was not celebrated with Jon's because they didn't want everyone to know the truth. Though the two children always knew the truth, despite everyone telling them otherwise.

True to Lyanna's words the twins were a little bit of a handful. Okay, they were a complete handful. They were always together and when Arabella was suppose to be learning how to be a proper lady she was always quick to find the her older brother and practice with them.

Jon and Robb got along like two brothers would. There was never a doubt that they were brothers and if anyone told Robb otherwise Robb was quick to defend his brother.

Arabella and Robb were not always on the best of terms. He liked to annoy her to no end. She absolutely hated it. Now that is not to say that if someone was to pick on the other sibling they wouldn't defend each other. There were often times when all three siblings were together that all three would come home dirty and bruised from a fight that was started by some righteous child who thought that they were better than Jon or Robb. Or that they thought that Arabella was too much of a boy to be considered a girl. That last one often got Robb in to fights to defend his sister, which in turn got other children involved. Needless to say that with the three oldest children Ned and Cat had their hands full.

As the children grew in numbers and size, Ned could not be any more proud of his pups. They were all good at something. Robb with his ability to step up ready or not. Jon with his ability to not let his name decide who he really is. Arabella with her ability to not only be a proper lady but her ability to quickly pick up any weapon and quickly master it. Sansa was more of a proper lady and very dedicated to her studies. Arya was like her older sister in many ways, and much like Arabella she was quick on her feet as well as her mouth. Bran was a climber and could climb any wall, tree, or tower needed to keep out of trouble. Rickson was the youngest and though he wasn't able to care for himself Ned was proud of his son none the less.

Ned had also picked up another child, not his but still under his care. This one was an iron-born, Greyjoy. His name was Theon, and was always with Robb and Jon. He often tried to flirt with Arabella, who turned him down each time, and if he got out of hand Jon and Robb were quick to handle him.

Ned knew that things in the north were about to change. Winter was coming. After he dealt with the deserter from the wall, he got back and started planning for the arrival of the King. Cat, Arabella, and Sansa were working together to make sure everything was ready for the incoming royal family and their companions. Arabella knew things about each member of the Lannister and Baratheon family.

Like that the youngest of the Lannister siblings, Tyroin, liked to read, which was something she herself had in common with the little man. He was also very short to the average man. He was considered a dwarf, who could never appease his father. In that sense he might as well been a bastard, he might have been treated better. Tyroin, though a dwarf, did not seem to let that bother him. He was quick with his mind a trait that would get him far weather he realized it or not. He was very strange person from what she could recall towards the rumors, though she supposed that it was due to the fact that he was strange himself.

Jaime Lannister was a knight in the king's guard and heir to Casterly Rock. He was one who enjoyed things like relaxing and training. He is very close to his twin sister the Queen. He had been forced into joining the King's Guard when the Mad King was ruler. Arabella seemed to think that the Mad King wanted him there as to keep an eye on the old lion, Tywin, and ensure his loyalty. There was also many of rumors of his handsome looks and his ability with a sword. He was also the Kingslayer, a word that Arabella felt shouldn't have described him. Though this could have been due to her kind heart. While it is true that he killed the Mad King, Arabella believes that in some instances a vow to protect a king and his kingdom have fine lines of what comes first. A king will be nothing without his Kingdom, and if the king wishes to burn everything down then measures should be taken to protect what is precious. The lives of many are worth more than the life of one.

Cersei, Jaime's older twin sister, was a queen of comfort and lion of a mother. She was always with her younger children and cared for them deeply. She would need some candles and probably a quarter away from the king. Mainly out of respect as Arabella had heard many of rumors about the King's monstrous sexual appetite.

Thankfully for this trip the old lion who sits happily on Casterly Rock will not be joining the ride to the north with the royal family. Arabella would not want too many lions within her home. While the pack is strong, Arabella knows that Lions have been able to defeat the wolves in the past.

Arabella was pulled out of her thoughts when her father and brothers returning from the beheading. Jon dismounted his horse and came to his sister. In his arm were two white things of fur.

"Bells, father and I have something for you," He told his sister using her preferred name rather than her birth. As he got closer Arabella noticed the things of white were moving. Upon closer inspection she noticed that they were Direwolves, the house of Stark's signa. The one that caught her eye was the one with black feet, ears, snout,  and a black tip on its tail. Jon handed her the wolf pup. She smiled and took a full look of it. Its eyes were an icy blue, but looked soft and kind rather than how ice is perceived to be. She smiled as the wolf licked her face. She realized that the wolf was a girl, and she needed a name.

"Jon, what do you think of Mystic," she asked her brother her smile not fading.

"Aye, that's a good name. Mine is Ghost," he told her showing off his wolf, "Dad says we have to care for them, and if they die we bury them".

"Sounds like father, until something comes up and he has to," she said with a slight chuckle, "Let's go bathe these pups and get them feed".
