Ashton's pov

We got our drinks and started to head to the park, we were fairly quiet until we got to the park and Emily saw something and started running towards it, it was the swings.

"Ash hurry up"

"Yeah I'm coming" we were both smiling at each other.

"Push me Ash"

"You baby"

"Whatever"

For a while I was just pushing Emily until I started to get tired.

"I'm getting tired now and I want a go"

"Well I'm sure I can do it myself now"

We both started laughing at each other when we were trying to get higher than each other. Then when I fell off she just exploded with laughter.

"Oh I'm fine down here"

"Oh sorry Ash it's just so funny"

When she helped me up we found ourselves looking into each other's eyes, our faces so close and I just wanted to kiss her but then I thought about the boy I saw her with and ran towards the slide.

"Wait for me Ash"

I climbed up the slide and sat at the top when suddenly I was sliding down to the bottom. I looked up at Emily and she was smiling.

"I wanted a go and you were just sitting there"

I just smiled at her walking back to the ladders while she went down and I climbed up and sat at the top again but this time she wasn't going to push me.

"No pushing this time Emily"

"Yes mother" then she started laughing again. "Well will you hurry up I want a go"

"Then you will just have to sit on me" I was looking in her eyes, she hesitated clearly thinking about something but then she shrugged her shoulders and sat on me. I was kinda surprised she did it but I liked and I knew she was smiling.

"Well go then"

"Ready?"

"Ready"

We slid down the slide laughing our heads off and when we got to the bottom we decided to go and sit on the swings for a bit before going home. When we were siting on the swings I thought this was the best time to ask her some questions.

"Hey Em"

"Yeah"

"How come you moved schools?"

Emily's pov

"How come you moved schools?"

Why he asking me this? Can I trust him? Should I tell him? I can't tell him he wouldn't like me anymore, wait why do I care if he likes me or not? Do I like him? To be honest I haven't really liked Danny that way in ages but I'm just to scared to break up with especially now I'm friends with Ash cause he will probably thinks it's because of Ash and beat the crap out of him.

"Em, hey Em"

"Sorry I've gotta go"

"Wait what"

"I'm sorry"

I left nearly running back to my house. When I got there I stopped at the door calmed myself down and walked in.

"Hey mum"

"Hi Emily everything alright"

"Yeah Ashton just had to go home" this was a lie.

"Ok dinner will be ready soon"

"I'll be in my room"

I went up the stairs and laid on my bed, then I got a text.

'What happened today I thought we were having fun? I'm sorry if it's cause of what I said or was it just me?'- Ash

'No I did have fun today, lots of fun and it's not you. I just don't like talking about my past, I wanted to but I don't know wether I can trust you enough'-Em

'You can trust me, I'm here whenever you are ready to talk to me'-Ash

'Thanx see you at school on Monday'-Em

I put my phone down when my mum came in.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, your friend George came round earlier but I told him you were out and dinner is ready"

"Thanx mum I will be down in a minute"

That's weird I don't have a friend called George.

--Danny's pov--

I saw the whole thing at the park. Them laughing with each other, him pushing her on the swing, sitting on his lap on the slide and them nearly kissing. I knew that's what they were going to do and then Emily walking off and him shouting after her. That boy is going to get some serious beating if I see him with her again. I'm gonna call her later to ask if she's feeling better because she told me that lie about being ill. I'm gonna be sneaky about getting the truth out instead of just coming out with. Two can play at this game.
