Demigods and Wizards [ON HIATUS]

4: Hazel

Magic was absolutely amazing! We'd all been practicing spells and jinxes, getting used to our wands. I was particularly good at it, as was Thalia, probably because we were already used to manipulating the Mist. I couldn't wait for school to start. 

The day after we went shopping, we met Hagrid. He was half-giant, but he seemed like a really nice man. We spent most of that day packing and preparing to leave for Hogwarts the next day, which was today.

We all woke up bright and early, eager to get to the train station. Hagrid took us there in a car that was charmed to be bigger on the inside than the outside. We walked into the station, and just as Hagrid was explaining how to get onto platform 9 ¾, a boy ran up to us.

"Katie! Percy! Nico! Annabeth! Guys! Hey, what are you all doing here?", the boy said.

"Neville? What are you doing here?!?," Katie cried. "Are you a wizard?"

"Yeah, I am. Are you all here on a quest or something? Wait, are you the exchange students they mentioned in the letters?"

"Yeah, we are. It's great to see you Neville, I was going to tell you that we were coming, but I decided to keep it a surprise," Annabeth smiled.

"Wait! You knew Neville was a wizard and didn't tell us?", Travis asked.

Annabeth nodded, "Luna Lovegood, Draco Malfoy, and the Weasleys are here, too. I wasn't supposed to reveal their secret before now."

"WHAT?!?!", Percy and the Stolls cried in unison.

"Fred and George are here?" Travis grinned maniacally, "This'll be fun!"

"Hold up, time out," Leo intervened, "What's going on here? Weren't you at Percy and Annabeth's wedding? Who are you?"

"This is Neville Longbottom, son of Demeter, Katie's little brother. He used to come to camp every summer until the year you came, which is why you don't know him." Percy explained, "Draco, Luna, Ginny, Fred, and George are other demigods that stopped coming to camp a few years ago, which I guess is because they moved to England full time."

Neville nodded, "The others stopped coming to camp after they started at Hogwarts, since they have family here. My dad and stepmom aren't really able to take care of me and I don't like my Gran all that much, so I kept coming, though I couldn't these past two summers. I don't think I've ever met some of you."

Annabeth nodded, "That's because two summers ago we discovered that there are Roman demigods. Most of the new faces here are from the Roman camp. Leo and Piper here are Greek though, they're just new, they came not long after you left."

Annabeth introduced all of us that hadn't met Neville before, then we went through a brick wall to get onto Platform 9 ¾. When we got there, Neville ran off and came back with a blonde boy and girl in tow, as well as three redheads, grinning from ear to ear.

"Luna! Draco! Ginny! Fred! George!", several of the Greek demigods cried, tackling the newcomers in a group hug.

"Oh my gods! It's so good to see you all again! How are you?"

"Draco! Nice to see you again little bro! You never thought to tell your own brothers you were a wizard, huh? Why didn't you tell us?", Travis questioned his younger brother.

Annabeth led us all through another round of introductions. Apparently, Draco is a son of Hermes, the three Weasleys are Athena kids, and Luna is a daughter of Aphrodite.
