He's the master of the Castillo -it makes sense!

There were no words to describe the interior of the Castillo, literally. Because, everywhere she looked was so opulent she wasn't sure she hadn't died and gone to heaven. She stepped into the hall and gasped at its size, was this the ballroom? Had there ever been a ball? Huge, tall pillars stood in a long line on opposite ends of the room, making it look exactly like the medieval place it was. So romantic, she thought and immediately shuddered. Such a thought was supposed to be an abomination, something that would make her skin crawl before, it wasn't now. Oh oh...

Oh, but the ceiling was so grand! So kingly! So... Dante! He never did anything halfheartedly and this was yet another testament to that very irresistible fact about the man. How the hell did someone inherit something like this? No wonder he didn't like anyone coming here, except her - something to give even more thought later, Scarlett thought as she looked at the different sculptures and paintings in the room, and headed for the grande staircase at the centre of the room.

The ceiling was so high she felt like she was floating or flying when she looked up. Italians had a thing for beauty and it was clear they ensured their appreciation for it touched every part of their surroundings.

"Right this way, Ms Kane." a voice said, sounding so far away she felt like she was in a dream, walking in slow motion, floating...falling-

"His excellency asked that you occupy the Purple room- it's his favourite room in the whole Castillo! Though there are several rooms that could be to your liking in case you're not comfortable with this one." The head of house keeping indicated with her hand, in a flair to show Scarlett that her opinion was welcome. She'd been so enthralled with her surroundings, she hadn't realised they were at her room already.

Scarlett was this close to bursting into laughter- and not because she was amused, but because it just kept on getting better and better! And soon, she'd forget why she was there in the first place. No. No. She wouldn't-

" Oh my God! Oh my God! This is so beautiful! It's impossible that there's something more beautiful than this room!" She gashed as she rotated about the room in wonder, thinking back to that little statement about it being the duke's favourite room. Really? And he gave it to her? Now that there was a very worrying thought- she just wasn't sure why yet.
Was Dante saying something to her?

"Ahem." A polite cough reminded her that she wasn't alone and that her answer was still needed.

Scarlett turned with a beaming smile- come to think of it, she'd never smiled so much in a few minutes as she was at the moment. "Is it possible to have my name on the door?" She asked in a very hopeful voice, making even the housekeeper smile and shake her head politely.

"Darn it, had so many plans for this room!" She said in mock disappointment and did something completely out of character- she hugged the head of housekeeping! And more interesting, the lady hugged her back! "Thank you."

"You're welcome, Ms Kane. Your luggage will be up in a few minutes and someone will be here to bring you something to eat."

"Thanks again!" Scarlett replied as she looked at the tall green billowy curtains, blocking and yet teasing and promising on what lay behind them. She could hear the sound of the sea, water hitting up against the rocks, birds cackling, the wind blowing- it was so magical! Almost like falling in love! Wait, what?! Damnit, what was happening to her?! Not only did she just freak the housekeeper out with her impromptu hug but was now thinking about love! Goddamit, she was a high-end lawyer with a chip on her shoulder about all men! She didn't fall in love! How ridiculous.

" Now, where to start..." She whispered into the room as she slowly walked over to the curtains and pushed them aside and taking a big whiff of the sea and marvelled at the beauty before her.
