Chapter 11: Out to the Mall

It was Adam

The man who robbed my virginity.....

The one who left me with all the bruises on my body.....

The one who ruined me and, changed me to the person I am today....

I ducked my head, Troye gave me a sideways glance

"You okay?"

I was far from okay....

Adam was here..ADAM WAS HERE

I tried to run away from him, did he find me, was I in trouble? Did he live here now?

I awoke from my thoughts,Adam was probably ordering his regular...order 7

Funny how I still know it

"Umm, I'm okay, it's just that we need to leave..now"I lied

And with that I quickly left the store...and my food (unfortunately), while covering my face the whole way

I waited in the car till Troye came, which was not that long

He came with a confused look on his face

But I drove back to work without a word

When we arrived he tried to talk

"Re-"

"Not right now"

I was not in the mood, God. I was scared for my life, for crying out loud!!

I finished my work soon and left.

I didn't even bother saying a word to Liam, he was ignoring me anyway

Why? Don't have a clue

When I got home I threw myself on my bed, trying to understand why Adam was here, in New York, when he is supposed to be in Florida

He couldn't have possibly think I came all the way here?

Could he?

I don't know!!

I got a ping from my MacBook that was given to me by my new job, and I checked to see what it was that could annoy me

It was an email about the annual celebration the job was having

They take this pretty seriously....

Apparently it happens 2 weeks from now....Great

I'm so fustrated!

Kelly is dating Liam, I have to find a random date to go to the party with, and to top it all off, Adam is here!

I need someone to talk to

Like magic, Kelly started calling me

"Kelly thank God you called me, you ca-"

"Hey Renae, Liam's taking me shopping to buy stuff for the office celebration, so I wanted to know if you wanted to come with us"

Did she not here anything I said?

And so now she can come? What happened to "employees only", I really cannot understand this guy

"Uhh...I don't think I want to come"

Especially with Liam there, but I didn't tell her that

"Please....Ill buy you all the bath and body works stuff you want"

That was good....but no!

"Nice try Kelly but no"

"What about bath and body works, a new phone,....and how much Chick-fil-A you want"
