Chapter 19: A Chance

I ended up running to Florence

It was empty and no one was there, the lights lightly blinking

I missed this place, good times

I sat there for a good hour, until I decided I can't just sit here thinking

I called Troye, and he stopped his date with Lee, just to get me

He didn't ask questions and I was thankful for that

I love him, THAT'S a good bestfriend

I saw a car pull up to the restaurant

"Oh my gosh Renae, my baby, what happened!" He said probably referring to my face

I shook my head

He nodded in understatement, he said we were going to Lee's house

I didn't object, I didn't want to go home anyway

Once we arrived I could tell Lee wanted to ask questions, but Troye gave him a look

I'm so grateful

He gave me a hug at least

I showered in one of Lee's guest room, he gave me a night gown too

Lee had a very big house

I laid on the bed, thinking of Liam....what if I was.....wrong?

No Renae, see? You're going to get hurt again when you think like that

Before I knew it, my eyes were drifting close..

And I don't know when, but I fell asleep

NEXT DAY

I woke up to loud behind knocking

I felt like I had a headache

"Ughhh, who the hell is that!!" I yelled

"It's Lee, I got some food"

That's when I remembered everything, but I was too hungry to care

I sat up

"Come in"

He walked in with a plate of pancakes and strawberries

My mouth drooled

"You seemed.....sad yesterday so I made this for you"

I jumped on him, he didn't seem a bit fazed

He patted my back

"Wait where's the syrup"

He smiled

"You don't need any, it's nutella filled"

I hugged him tighter, I'm a sucker for nutella

He soon left and I ate my breakfast slowly so I can savor the goodness

When I was done I went to the shower, I took a long bath, I didn't have anything to do anyway

I got out and saw some clothes on my bed it was overall shorts with a white crop top and white shoes

I also let my hair out with a white bandana

Dang Lee has style

I have no idea how he knew my exact size, and where he got the clothes from

I walked downstairs to find Lee and suddenly the front door opened

Troye was in his work suit breathing hard

I ran up to him

"Oh my gosh, Troy you okay?"

He took a moment to level his breathing

"Renae, you have to go to the office, Mr.Williams is angry at everyone for no reason!, ever since he noticed you were not at work.He trashed his whole office!"

Wow he must be really mad, but....why? He just wants to use me

I remained silent

"Oh....and he said he wants to meet you on his lunch break which is kinda right now of he'll fire me"

How dare he threaten me like that?

He knows I would go if Troye's job was on the line

I went to the park Troye had said and saw Liam on a bench

My heart lurched, he was still so gorgeous

I swallowed air and walkwd up to him

Looking down, I talked

"You wanted to speak to me?"

I felt him stand up, and I began to get nervous

"Look at me"

I ignored him

"Please look at me"

I still ignored him

"Renae look at me" he said that more stern

But I just could not look at him in the eye I might start crying

Then I felt a hand on my chin

Liam gently lifted my face up to his

I looked into his blue and gray irises

Then his gaze faltered to my lips

And he kissed

Yup, he had the audacity to kiss me after all the lies he said to me

He tried harder, smashing his lips against mine

But I did nothing

He let go of my chin in fustration

"Dammit Renae, why dont you want me, I thought you liked me, Am I not good enough? Is there another guy??!!"

I couldnt take it, he was yelling at me and hated when people yelled

Tears began to form

"Just leave me alone"

I sat on the bench and folded my knees up and cried in them

"Renae......Im sorry"I could hear the regret in his voice

He wrapped his arms around me but I pushed him off

"Please dont push me away Renae"

Thats it Im just gonna tell him, he deserves to know

I wiped my tears, and took a deep breath

"Its not that I dont like you.....youre perfect....its just..Im tired of getting hurt" I managed to say in a very shaky breath

I couldn't bare to look at him

"Look at me, Renae, baby look at me"
I turned to him this time

Tears slowly falling

"I dont know what youve been through I dont know who hurt you princess, but if I did I would kill them. I will never hurt you like that...ever. You have no idea what I feel for you, you're different from other girls, you're unique. And I can show you who I really am if you just gave me a chance" he said desperately

I looked at the ground

Should I give him a chance?

I should, Im not the type to judge

But look what happened when you did that

I ignored the thoughts in my head

"Okay" I said in a whisper

I looked at him

"Wait okay, like okay okay like yes?"

I shook my head yes

He broke into a death dropping grin, stood up, picked me up, and twirled me around

I giggled and wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck

We just stayed in that position for a while until I heard cameras flashing....
