Chapter 34:Guilt

I soon dressed Leah into a marshmallow

I don't care how hot she was, as long as she was warm

I went outside to see Liam attempting to build what I thought was a snowman

I laughed at him "I'm not even from a state that snows, but I can builde a better snowman"

He smirked "Oh yeah? Let's see who builds the best one, by the way, Leah is on my team"

I shook my head, he really thought he was going to win

We built the snowmans, and of course I won

His snowman' s bodies looked liked defuctional squares

"You know I won"

He picked up Leah, and sighed

"You're right, and I am shocked"

I laughed

For the rest of the day we played in the snow. Painful snowball fights, snow forts, and more snowmans.

Soon, it was very late

"We should go inside now, the hot chocolates are probably already ready " Liam said

"Wait, let's take one more picture" I said handing Liam my phone

Leah and I did duck lips and posed, it was so cute

I'm glad I had a boyfriend that can take good pictures

We went inside to indeed find hot and ready hot chocolate

We took off our heavy coats, and went into the living room with the fireplace

Liam grabbed some blankets, and lit the fireplace

I didn't think things could get any better

We cuddled, and before we knew it, Leah was sleeping soundly between us

I smiled at the sight, I loved her so much

"So....." Liam dragged out

I immediately knew he had one of them questions he was afraid to ask me about

"Yes Liam?"

He coughed "I know this is a perfect moment, and I really don't want to ruin it....but" He looked at me "Can you tell me a little more about your ex?"

Why is he asking me about him??

I just forgot about the whole situation with Adam, and now he had to bring it up

I need to stop, it's not his fault, he doesn't know

"You don't have to tell me now....I just....really want to know" Liam said interrupting my thoughts

"Oh...umm, I can tell you"

Was I about to spill all my horrid past with that abuser?

"He was nice, but when his dad died, he took a heavy toll and put it all on me"

Hell no, well not yet

Liam straightened up a little bit
"He didn't hurt you, right?"

I looked at his eyes

I wanted to tell him he hurt me alright, he hurt me and filled me with many scars, he turned me into the imsecure girl I am today

But I didnt, I sat and lied to my boyfriend, the man I trust....the man who trusts me...

"N-no, he just became distant, that's all"

He sighed and leaned back

"Okay, just making sure"
