tilting my head
to the side
as if
I didn’t know
who this
‘Kayleigh’ was.
And,
in a sense,
I guess
I never
truly did.
“My name’s Marina.”
And he went along
and he treated
Marina
like
Kayleigh.
And,
I didn’t
like it very much
because
Kayleigh
no longer
exists.
Kayleigh
is
forever
dead.
