I was with the lads talking and kicking a ball about when she comes into view

'alright boys?' Tracy says smiling catching the ball

'hiya' they all say back

'hey Tracy' I say acting cool and nonchalant like I couldn't care less

'Tracy!' Mike shouts from the house she rolls her eyes making the boys laugh and turns away throwing the ball over her head it lands in the back of the net!

The others look stunned she turns back round 'goal' she says smiling her raven hair catching the sunlight flying in the wind as she walks away

I'm breathless.

'What a shot!' Toby says but I don't notice because I'm still staring after her until she's out of view I turn to the lads and smile

'oh my god you love her don't you!' Johnny says

'..what no don't be so ridiculous!' I say I hadn't played it as cool as I thought

'you so love her!' Toby says

'oh shut up' I say nudging him..but they were right ever since we met I'd fell for her.

FLASHBACK

After a long awkward silence I decide to speak to her again she was shaking I could tell she hadn't been here before

'Names liam by the way' I whisper to her

'Tracy' she whispers back giggling

'you may aswell tell them your name they're gonna find out sooner or later' she says to me

I nod she's got a point so I sidle up to the police officer 'cuz your a fun guy I've decided to tell you my name' I say hearing her laugh in the background quietly her laugh was one like no other infectious you had to laugh with her or at least smile

'Beaker come with me' an officer says seriously i turn round just as Tracy looked into my eyes and smiled it was only for a second but I knew I'd found someone special

BACK TO THE PRESENT

'So what are you gonna do about it then?' Frank says

'well there's nothing I can do is there' I say back to him annoyed that the world had stupid rules that even I couldn't break

But when had that ever stopped me before?

'I'll catch up with you guys later' I say running to the door I see her she's lumbered with the drying up again and practically everyone else was around

'alright' I say cheerily

'oh hey Liam!' she says to me smiling I found myself getting lost in her smile even tho I knew I legally couldn't

I felt anger coming over me again.

'Tracy?' Carmen says Tracy goes to walk over to her this wasn't fair kids in care never get anything they want and that seems to include privacy

She comes back to me and touches my shoulder her touch soft and comforting this makes me even angrier I shake her off

'back off Beaker' I find myself saying storming off

'what did I do?! Liam wait!' Tracy says to me chasing me up to the pink palace

'what's gotten into you?' She says I stay silent it's best i do so

'okay I'll leave you to calm down but if you ever want to talk to me you know you can?' She says hesitating a little

'why would I want too all you do is stick your nose in!! Just get lost your just a careworker stop acting like my friend and leave me alone!!' I say smacking all the ornaments off my shelf in a rage
