Louis and I had the job of finding another car. We were the only ones who's credit wasn't already shot. Lucky us right? The man behind the counter asked if we were married. "No." was our very clear answer. They tried so hard to see our trackers, so finally we just let them see. They imeadiately nodded and grabbed the paperwork. "Two eighteen year olds? We can get you guys in a car easily. HOW will you be paying for the car?" Louis and I looked at each other. "Let us look at a car first. We need a van." I kept my voice cool. I didn't want to give anything away quite yet. he nodded and took us to see a mini van. I shook my head and whispered to Louis "We should go to the car lot next door. They have a van that's like a mini bus." he nodded and said "Thank you but we need something a bit bigger."
The man sighed. "You're going next door?" We nodded and walked out of the door. Soon we were signing paperwork for our new van and pulling out cash to pay for the car. Louis and Anna's parents were loaded and they had tons of money themselves. Did you think we were stealing a car? No. We aren't that crazy. Louis and I talked a lot on the way back to where we had the truck. Anna and Louis were next door neighbors in New York. Anna's mothers were models, while Louis's mother and father were actors. Why didn't they live in Hollywood? I don't know. They hung out a lot and had been best friends their entire lives, so when their trackers went off they started their journey together. We made it back and I was told that tomorrow Damien would teach me to drive the old truck. For now, we were sleeping in a hotel.
Guess who my roommate was?
