"Oh my gosh." Beth whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.  She hopped over the counter and ran to Elliot, jumping in his arms.  Cheers erupted from everyone, taking pictures and videos of the sight.  She was sobbing into Elliots' uniform, while he rubbed her back.  She looked up at him, mascara everywhere, and just grinned.  She heard a noise from the restrooms and saw her parents standing there, watching the sight, eventually engulfing in a huge group hug, while everyone 'awwed' even more.

They all were catching up, having a small party in the shop, loving every bit of it.  Elliot was going to be home for a very long time, which was amazing.  Of course, Beth loved that he was defending their country, but she just missed him and worried about him, that's all. Sadly though, the party was coming to an end. 

Everyone else had left, besides the group who was there at the beginning. (cal, ash, mikey, luke, niall, beth, paige)  They were all helping clean up the mess they had made while catching up.  It was ten till midnight, but Beth was still buzzing.  She had sent Nick to go get some sleep.  She had looked over to Paige, who was laughing at something that Mikey had said.  She smiled at them and thought of something.  She didn't thank Paige for getting Elliot back.

She cursed before speed walking to Paige and hugging her.

"Why are you getting all touchy with me?" Paige said, hugging her back.

"You got Elliot back for me." Beth said, eyes closed, enjoying the thought of Elliot being back.

"Wait, you know that wasn't me, right?" Paige asked.

Beth opened one eye and narrowed her eyes at Paige.  "Who was it, then?" 

"Your boy toy, Beth." Paige said, pointing at Calum, who was licking the icing off a cupcake, then waving at Beth, noticing that she was staring at him.  Beth smiled at him before looking away.

"It was him?" Beth said, not believing Paige.

"Yeah, all Calum." Paige said, slightly pushing Beth towards Calum.

Beth smiled before walking over to Calum, sitting next to him. 

"Hello." Calum said, grinning at her.

"Hiya." Beth said, laughing.

"I can't get over your cupcakes." Calum said, giving one to Beth, Beth gladly taking it.

"Yeah, I admit, their pretty good, but that's not what I came to talk about." Beth smiled.

That caught Calum off guard and he turned and faced her, with a somewhat serious face.  

"Well, what is it, then?" Calum asked.

"I can't thank you enought for what you did." Beth said, softly.

"What?  Oh your brother?  You don't have to thank me, the way you were talking about him was quite adorable and I can tell you and Elliot have such a strong bond and I couldn't stand your adorable face turn into a sad one when you said that he was deployed." Calum said, dead serious.

Beth blushed and looked down. "I owe you one, big time, Cal.  That was the best thing you could've done for me." 

"You owe me?  I know something you could do for me.." Calum trailed off, playfully looking away.

Beth giggled at him and tilted her head.  "And what's that?" Beth said, moving closer to him.

"Go on a date with me."

"I can't handle this!  I don't know what to wear, how to do my makeup, should I just cancel?" Beth yelled at Paige, who immediately gave her the devil look.

"Like hell you'll cancel." Paige nearly growled, Beth giving her wide eyes.

"Okay, okay.  I'm just nervous, that's all.  I'm scared that if I wear toms he's gonna take me to a nice restaurant and toms aren't for nice restaurants.  Then, if I wear heels, I'm afraid he's gonna take me rock climbi-" 

"Rock climbing?  What the hell?" Paige said, chucking an outfit at Paige. 

"I was brainstorming." Beth said, getting out of the shower.

"Well, stop and calm down.  Calum likes you and you like Calum, don't deny it, and he'll take you somewhere that you'll love." 

Beth sighed and agreed, walking out of the bathroom, with a towel around her body. 

"Ooh, I think you should go on the date like that." Paige said, smirking at a nearly naked Beth.

Beth smiled and looked at the outfit she chose for her. Nice and simple, just how she liked it.  It was supposed to be a little chilly tonight, so Paige chose plain skinny jeans, combat boots, a small pea coat, and a shirt with the word 'free' on it.  When you look at it, it's a very nice outfit.  

"Straightened or curled?" Paige asked, holding up the straightener and curling iron.

"Straight.  It's been awhile."

"Oh my god, holy shit, damn, what do I wear, oh she's not gonna like what I have, oh my god, I'm a nervous wreck-"

"Will you shut the hell up and be a man?" Mikey groaned from the living room of Nialls' apartment.  

"I can't help it, man!" Calum snapped.

"If you had some balls, you'd be able to help it." Mikey snapped back. 

Calum cursed him out, but Ashton walked in, silencing him.

"Look, mate, I'm sure she's just as nervous as you are.  Just be glad you asked for permission to ask her on a date to her parents and brother, otherwise, you'd be screwed." Ashton laughed.

Calum looked at Ashton with a 'wow you're hilarious' face before chucking more outfits out of his suitcase.

"All I have are band tees.  Do you think she'll mind?" Calum asked, concerned.

"If she does mind, then you she isn't worth you time, man.  However, I have a feeling that she won't mind and she is definitely worth your time.  Just put on the normal Calum Hood outfit that she has seen you in for days." 

Calum sighed before grabbing black skinny jeans and a nirvana shirt.

"That's more like the Calum I know." Ashton said, patting him on the back.

"Shit, Ashton, it's time, what do I do?" Calum asked.

"Come on, Cal.  You've got to man up and do this.  You wanted a date with her, you've got to woo her.  Pull the ole 'Calum Hood' charm and you've got her in." 

"Ugh, okay, even thought this is scary as hell, here I go." Calum said, his voice getting high pitched.

"Go get her, mate." 

"I will if I don't piss my pants." Calum said, nearly crying.

Beth was waiting for Calum, touching up on her hair, making sure it was perfect for him.  She heard a knock and opened the door, revealing a very hot and smirking Calum.

"I believe we have a date?"
