"Calum?"

"Yeah?"

"Why did you come see me?"

"Because I missed you and I was worried?"

"What about your family?  Why didn't you go see them?"

"I just saw them." 

"You did?"

"Yeah.  They were at the California shows a couple days ago.  All of the guys' family was there." 

"Good." 

"Why good?"

"Because I don't want it to seem like everytime you have a little time off you come to see your girlfriend instead of your family."

Beth watched him smile and shake his head.  He looked up and met her eyes.  

"Well, maybe one day it'll be both at the same time."

"Damn, you weren't kidding about the couple upstairs." 

Beth sighed and groaned.  "They're like little horny bears!"

Calum laughed and pulled the blanket up closer to them.  

"You're really warm, ya know?" He snuggled closer to her.

"I've been told.  Wait, shouldn't I be the little spoon, since I'm the girl?"

Calum opened his eye and started blushing.  "You're really warm, okay?!"

Beth laughed at how defensive he was getting.  "You're funny." 

"I've been told."

"You've been here for four hours and we haven't gone to sleep yet." 

"Your point?"

"No point, just saying.  This is fun." 

"You're so random, but I like it." 

Beth laughed and rubbed her tired eyes.  Calum pushed the hair out of her face and smiled, watching her eyes roam around, landing on his bare chest.  He watched in amusement as she traced her fingers on his chest, not paying attention.  She was stuck in her thoughts, but for once, they actually seemed like good thoughts.  She was smiling a little and her eyes started to droop.

"Sleep, baby." 

She opened her eye and looked at his more awake eyes.  She shook her head.

"I don't want to sleep while you're awake.  That'll bore you."

"Staring at you while sleeping won't bore me." 

Beth scrunched her nose up.  "That sounded slightly creepy." 

"That's why I said it." 

"Shut up." 

"No, this is amer- wait this isn't america.." He trailed off.

Beth giggled and ran her hands through his hair.  She could see the small parts of blonde at the top of his hair.

"As much as I love your hands running through my hair, I want you to get some sleep.  You've been in a hospital and nobody can sleep good in there.  Get some sleep, Lis."
