Chapter 3: "PLEEEEEAAAAASE!"

Keith sat there on his bed examining his left arm. What did this mark mean? It had been three days since the mysterious Altean woman had attacked him. Most of the burns had disappeared. But, of course, the mark remained. Keith felt like he had seen that mark somewhere before.

Suddenly, Keith heard a knock at his door. It was probably Krolia coming to give him another bandage or to check up on him after the incident. Keith went to open the door. Nobody was there. He then heard a footstep. Keith took out his knife and prepared himself for what was about to come.

TAP!

Keith turned quickly to see a shadow, but as soon as he saw it, it was gone. The shadow looked plump, and whoever it belonged to was very bad at sneaking around. Keith neared where he saw the silhouette walk by.

TAP!

This time he saw a slenderer shaped silhouette. Keith thought he recognized these shadows. Keith turned around once more and this time he swore he saw Pidge peeking behind the wall. What were they doing here? Keith felt a tap on his shoulder. Keith turned to see Shiro. "How 'bout a hug, hey?" Shiro said with a smile. Keith smiled and hugged Shiro happily. "What are you doing here?" Keith asked letting go of their embrace. "Came to see you" Answered Shiro. "We all did." The rest of the Voltron team then came out from behind the walls. They all embraced Keith in a big group hug. "We missed you so much!" Pidge smiled happily. "I never thought I'd say this but, me too!" Lance sighed. Yup! Lance was still Lance.

"Seriously though, what are you guys doing here?" Keith asked again. "We came to ask you a very important question" Allura said, a bright smile on her face. Allura reminded Keith of something. "Oh! A-Allura, there's something I need to-" "Yes, of course! But first..." Suddenly, the whole team got onto their knees in a begging pose. Yes, even Lance was doing it. Keith then realized what they were doing. "Please rejoin Voltron!" Allura pleased.

"Please!"

"Pleasepleasepleaseplease..."

"I beg of you, please!"

"Keith, c'mon. I say 'Vol' and you say..."

Keith chuckled. Krolia came up behind Keith and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Did you bring them here?" Keith asked. Krolia grinned. "And I'm guessing they won't take 'no' for an answer?" Krolia laughed at Keith's question. Keith turned back to Lance. Keith sighed again.

"Voltron?"

Lance shook his head in disapproval. "You will never learn..." Keith laughed. "Welcome back to the team, buddy" Shiro smiled. With another group hug, Keith packed his things and headed out to the Red Lion. "Keith!" Krolia yelled out before he got into the lion. "Oh! Right! You need this" Keith said to Krolia as he tried to hand her the knife he had basically his whole life. Krolia sighed. She then closed Keith's fingers onto the knife. "Keep it" Krolia told Keith. "B-But Kolivan said-"

"It doesn't matter what Kolivan said. Keep it with you at all times...so you don't forget about me."

"How could I?"

Krolia then pulled Keith into an embrace. "Keith! You coming, buddy?" Shiro called. "Coming!" Keith replied. "Goodbye, Mom. Love you!" Keith then ran towards the Red lion. Krolia waved goodbye. And with that, Keith became a paladin once again.
