Hello readers! Before we get started, I would like to clarify some things about this story. So, let me get this over with as soon as I can, because most of this is fairly important for those who are actually interested in the story. Also, even if you have not watched the show Naruto, please read this note and take into consideration of reading this story! But at least read this note-it's for fans of the show and for people who haven't seen the show but want to read the book anyways-it's important!! Please do not skip this!! Okay, thank you.
First off, some of you know that this story had been posted on this site before, and those that didn't know that, now you know. The first few chapters have been revised and edited, so even if you've already read it, I don't think it'd hurt to read it again. It's only a few chapters. Anyways, this is kind of a spur of the moment to write this, and being that I am who I am, I might randomly decide to delete this story. So for those who read it, and like it, please inform me of that, so that I'll at least think twice before deleting the story. I'm less likely to delete something if people are interested in it. There's a difference between being interested, and merely reading it. For those that don't care if the story continues or gets deleted, please ignore what I just said!
Now, I would also like to clarify why this is considered a fan-fiction. This story is a fan-fiction of the show Naruto, but only because of some similarities in style, characters mentioned, abilities used, and things like that. This story does not have anything to do with the plot of the show Naruto, except the fact that Lady Tsunade is the Hokage presently in charge and that Kakashi is still available to training students, I won't spoil what that means, but those that have watched the show, you know. Though the plot may show similarities to the show's plot, it's a coincidence. This plot has huge antagonists that the characters of Naruto are not involved in what-so-ever, so you won't see Naruto or Sakura fighting the Ninja without a face, or the Monster man, or the other various antagonists. This story would be considered it's own story, if it weren't for the fact that it uses things from the show Naruto, such as: Use of jutsus (taijutsu, genjutsu, ninjutsu, kenjutsu, and all the other jutsus), Hand signs/seals (I'm sure you know what that means, but if you haven't seen the show at all, the hand seals are necessary to preform tasks such as attacks and jutsus in battle. No hand signs, no special "ninja" affects. Heh. Spoiler alert), Clothing (when I created the characters, I made their clothing look like they could fit in the Naruto world, and I also used some clothing from the show, such as the jounin vest, references to the ANBU masks, and the like), Villages and settings (such as certain training grounds and hidden villages, such as the Hidden Leaf, Rain, Stone, Sand, etc. Villages), and then the appearance/mention of characters from the show.
Perhaps once I've finished writing the series (yes, there's more than just this book) I will edit the story and change some facts and names and such so that it's it's own story, and not a fan-fiction at all. But until then, it's a fan-fiction.
Now, I'd like to say that those who have not watched the show Naruto, please feel free to read this story anyways! As you have read, this story doesn't really have anything to do with the show's plot, so even if you've never watched the show-or even heard of it-you can still read this story! I make fan-fictions easy for people like that, because on the things that you would have to watch the show to understand (such as hand seals and the like), I do explain so that you're not left in the dark.
Also, I hope to apologize to you if you were hoping to find a cliche story here. If you were hoping to read some Naruto fan-fiction where the main character is a really attractive girl who somehow finds herself in the Naruto world and brings along her ipod, you can forget it. The main character was born in this world. If you were looking for a story where the main character's a cute girl who gets put on the same team as Kakashi, Naruto, and the whole gang, and has sass and beats characters like Jiraiya and Jounin ninja at their own game, and is super perky and girly, and strong and has a secret, hidden power that she inherited as a kekkei genkai or something, that's not the case. The main character wasn't born strong, not at all, even. So if you wanted to read a story, where the main characters are charismatic, and get on everyone's good sides, such as the villain's good sides because they're "interested" in her unique fighting skills, or since they were able to plant a good blow on them and they think that's amazing and are intrigued by them or their behavior, forget it! That's not gonna happen! Spoiler alert, but if a good guy character were to pack a punch on an antagonist, that antagonist is likely to kill them. Then again, that depends on the antagonist. But don't think that any good-guys will be able to get away with insulting or upsetting a serious antagonist because the villain is interested by them, because even if they don't get killed, the antagonist likely has their own reasons for not spilling their blood...right away.
