"It all makes sense... I understand now..." Tora muttered, feeling a shiver coming on within her bones. "Why of all the groups to put a fourth person in, they made it this one. It takes two geniuses to even out the stupidity of Keiko... And even Asa's pretty smart, too, and he's a medic ninja..."

Keiko shrugged, braiding some strings together--the tips of it held in his mouth, while his fingers danced with the ends of each of the colorful twine. "I don't get what that's supposed to mean."

"It means, you idiot... that you're so dumb it takes the two smartest kids in our class to make up for your stupidity. Two geniuses plus one Keiko equals an average ninja as far as intelligence goes, you get it?" Asa explained. "And though I'm not incredibly smart or anything, I'm far from dull myself. Not to mention that they also put me--one of the few who trained under medicine--on the team. Which means they're expecting a dumbass like you to mess up a lot and they're going to rely heavily on me to keep the rest of the guys alive..." He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Somehow you managed to pass, and they assigned everyone in your team in accordance to give you a chance of making it."

Keiko smirked. "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. Mind dumbing it down a little more?" He asked.

"You annoying brat..." Asa muttered, glaring.

"It's not important," Akira interceded, deciding to be a level head among the four. "What happened, happened. All of us here have our strengths and our weaknesses, so despite what you might think... I believe we'll be a great team. I don't think we're at disadvantage just because Keiko's on our team. In fact, I believe we got the advantage."

Tora nodded, taking in a deep breath. "Akira's right. Keiko may not be too bright, but he's probably the strongest kid in our class--probably the whole academy. Akira and my intelligence can make up for his lack of it. Just like his strength can make up for my lack of strength. Asa's impatience will be evened out with Akira's maturity. Asa's ability to heal us will help us greatly when things don't go according to plan and any of us get hurt. Akira and I can come up with good tactics... We make a pretty good team, so long as we can work together."

Asa sighed. "I don't look forward to it. You have no idea how much Keiko annoys me..."

Tora frowned at the blonde. "Trust me, I've got an idea."

The four genin ninja were waiting about outside the academy--near one of the training grounds where they were supposed to wait for their new sensei to show up. They'd found a tree to rest near--Keiko standing next to it, Asa leaning against its trunk, Akira sitting on one of its branches, and Tora waiting near the foot of the tree--having found herself seated on the ground.

"I feel bad for this sensei of ours, though," Akira said with a light laugh. "What was his name again, Kazime? He's not only going to have four students instead of three, but one of them is difficult to deal with... Not to mention said student also fights with another one of the students like cat and dog."

"Meow," Keiko cooed, looking up at Akira with an innocent smile on his face.

Asa growled. "Akira, shut up."

Tora rolled her eyes.

After a short while, a young man approached the group, his hands in his pockets. He had slightly tan skin and baggy brown hair which hung in his face--a pale blue-grey bandanna wrapped around his head. A metal forehead protector with the village's symbol embedded in the metal was attached to said bandanna. Other than that, he seemed pretty simple. Taller than the children--surely, as he was a young man. But there wasn't anything else that really stood out about him. He had black eyes, wore the typical jounin gear of a faded green vest with black garments underneath, and a bored expression plastered on his face.
