Violet POV
Oh no. Oh no, this is bad. Really bad. Incredibly bad.
My friends are coming to save me, but he knows. He knows they're coming and will fo everything in his power to stop them, hurt them or even maybe... No stop! Get yourself together Violet. You gotta do something. You can't just stay here and cry. You are Invisigirl. You are Violet Parr, and the Parrs don't give up.
All I gotta do is find a way out of the ropes. I tried wiggling my hands out, nothing. I tried pulling really hard, nothing.
"Don't even try, sweet cheeks," Fuck. When did he get in here? How is he so quiet? "I am very proficient with knots. I was a scout." He steps into the light. He was dressed in black from head to toe. A mask covered his entire face, and a hood draped loosely over his head, flowing down to reach his thighs.
"What do you want from me?"
"Easy, all I want is your... special skill set..."
"You too? What's happening?"
"Oh honey... you think that all this is a coincidence?"
"What do you mean?"
"I sent them! Why do think there have been so many attacks lately? Why do you think this is happening during finals?" He starts pacing, making rhythmic, clock-like noises, "I've been observing you for a while now. I knew this would be the perfect time to attack. You're drained, tired..."
"And free" I stand up from my chair.
"What? How?"
"Don't watch the mouth; watch the hands."
I kick him in the stomach. He hits the ground with a thud. I need to find the door. Or a light switch. I make a small orb to give myself some sort of light-source. I turn around just in time to see my opponent levitating behind me. Why couldn't he be a normal human? Why does he have to have powers? Why is he a super?
I quickly throw the orb at him. It doesn't do much. When he charges at me, I make a force field around myself. Well at least his focused on me and not on my friends possible arrival. He hits the force field making me roll away. He hits me harder than I expected, so I loose the only protection that I had, hitting the ground and, possibly, giving myself a concussion. Don't panic. Do not panic. What do I do? He leaves me no time to think charging at me. I throw more orbs. At least it keeps him kind of busy. What do I know? He flies. That's it? Really? What can I do? There's no apparent door, no light source, and he has no apparent weakness. I'm so screwed, if only they were here... I hit my head, once again, against a wall.
"Ow... rude," I mumble. Great now I'm talking to inanimate objects. He's got me cornered. I am so screwed.
"You are not going to get away with this!"
"Oh really?, and what makes you think that way?"
"Because you're a bad guy, and bad guys never win."
"Well that's great for me. I will for sure win!"
"What?"
"You know, it's bold of you to assume I'm a guy."
"Wait..."
She takes off her mask, revealing a long, flowing ponytail. Scars run all over her face, some more prominent than others.
"Who are you?"
"You don't recognize me?," she laughs, "well of course you were too young to even remember. I'm a good friend of your parents, or rather was... they, and everyone else, think I'm dead."
Wait, a friend?, dead?, flight?
No, it can't be.
"Y- you can't be- you're dead! The plane crashed! You're-"
"That's right sweetheart... I'm Stratogale!"

Hi guys! Sorry for the long wait. I was drowning in schoolwork, and I didn't really know how to write this chapter. Also, btw I suck at writing action scenes so sorry if this is bad :/
