i glared at gravity and said:
“ allow me to fly
and touch the skies above
allow me to be free
and explore the things i love
allow me to fly
and play with the beams of stars
allow me to be free
and explore the world, near or far ”
gravity glared at me and said:
“ i won't allow you to fly
you'll lose yourself while touching skies
i won't allow you to be free
the things you love will turn out to be lies
i won't allow you to fly
those stars are huge and will burn you alive
i won't allow you to be free
exploring the world is like doing suicide
i want to save you
because i love you ”
that's when i realised
how gravity saved me everytime
when i thought i was in a cage
i was actually safe the whole time
gravity is selfless and tries to protect us
from our reckless ambitions
and so do our parents...
