3 Days Later

I sigh as I get ready for school. The only reason I'm going is because I have to finish Senior Year of high school. Finishing the last touches, I grab my bag and walk downstairs. I see Olivia and smile.
"Hey Liv"
"Hey Aly. Have fun at school today!"
"I'll try."
She smiles and I give her a quick hug, walking outside with Damon.
"Damon I wish you could come to school with me."
"Don't worry Aly, you'll be fine."
"I hope so."
We get in his car, and drive to school in silence. Pulling in the parking lot, and pulling in a spot, I kiss his cheek and get out of the car. As I walk to the main doors, someone grabs my hand, pulling me aside. I recognize him as Stefan. "Can I help you?" I ask, annoyed. "I just want to warn you to stay away from Damon." I just laugh. "That's not gonna happen stupid. And just so you know, you don't scare me. Now please let go so I can go find my class."
He lets go of my wrist and I walk away.
"Let's try this again." I mumble as I walk inside the school. I go to the front office and ask for my schedule, which I thankfully receive. Let's see... Class, Lunch, Class. My teachers are some guy named Alaric Saltzman, and.....Rebekah?
(A/N Alaric is like he was in season 1-2 before the evilness happened and he's still normal k? btw idk what happens to him after season 4 so just bear with me.)
Rebekah is a teacher? I laugh in my head, seeing how there has to be some complicated reason for this. I walk in Alaric's class and take a seat. I watch as people start filing in the room. Then I think, why does the name Alaric sound so familiar? I realize we have the same last name. No, this isn't happening. I quickly get up and leave, going to the Women's room and sit in a stall thinking. Then there's a knock on my stall door, and I sigh, getting up. I open the door revealing a girl around my age, long brown hair, brownish eyes. (Idk what Nina Dobrev's eye color really is) "Sorry..." I say, kinda nervous. "Are you okay?" she asks, sounding worried. I shake my head no and bite my lip to keep myself from crying. She hugs me and I'm surprised at first, but I hug her back. "I'm Elena." she says, after letting go. "I'm Alyson." I say softly. "Is it a bad idea to ask why you left?" I shake my head no and tell her everything. Especially the part where Alaric is my father who left my mother (Jenna) and I.

DUN...... DUN..... DUN...... Probably wasn't expecting that to happen, hmmm? I actually thought that up as I was writing this. So if I made this unclear, the story takes place around 1-2 season. There will be characters from later seasons but characters such as Alaric will act like he was in that time frame.
