I woke up seeing Kentrell, Three, Teelee, Kendell, KD, Babyjoe, Ben, Aaron, Zoey, Boomer, and Jania all sitting against the wall. None of them were talking to each other they just looked spaced out.

I sat up realizing I was in a bed and not next to one of them which was weird "What happened?"

"She awake" Aaron announced, running over to my bedside. He leaned his head on my shoulder crying, that's when I realized I was in the hospital. I seen the IV in my arm and whined at just the thought of the pain of needles.

"I dont know whatchu was doin girl but you got shot" Jania said, folding her arms across her chest being the first to speak.

"Why you even here again?" Zoey asked her from beside Kendell. "Nobody fuck witchu. You can leave", Kendell pulled Zoey by her arm, pulling her closer to him instead of letting her inch closer to Jania.

Jania rolled her eyes looking in her direction "Don't talk to me like that little girl I'm not ya age"

I blinked trying to find out who the hell she getting smart with "But I am. So watch ya mouth"

I swung my legs over the bed whicining at the pain in my lower body, looking down to see stitches over my hip.

"So I got shot?" I asked again, looking around everyone's hurt faces.

"Yeah" Kentrell spoke up. I noticed his eyes were red and he looked a little out of it along with Babyjoe.

"Ayeeee gang gang" I laughed "now I can tell people I been shot befo. Nuffin scare me"

"I'm sorry but what the fuck?" Teelee held her hand over her mouth cracking up.

"Dat aint funny" Kentrell said, still looking grumpy.

"And I shot somebody. I'm nba certified yet?" I made a gun with my hand pretending to shoot.

"Yeah the meds fucking her up .." Kendell mumbled before joining the rest of them in laughter.

I did feel a little different but in a good way.

I threw up my gang sings "ayye 38 baby slatt slatt slatt slatt"

KD, Ben, Boomer, and Babyjoe burst out laughing but Aaron and Kentrell was still serious.

A light knock on the door made us shape up real quick "Come in" Jania called to the person on the other side of the door. Damn just invite them in my shit.

A nurse came in with a clipboard and a pen. "Hey you're awake now"

I smiled in response.

She walked to the foot of my bed "So ima cut right to the chase. You've been shot. Your boyfriend brought you here earlier-" looking back at Kentrell.

"He's my boyfriend" Jania stepped up, sizing the nurse up.

"Yeah, no mines the one with the dreads"

"Oh he's a cutie" she smiled at Babyjoe and back at me. "My apologies" the nurse stated before getting back on track "You were shot in your side and we did an emergency surgery to get the bullet out. The surgery went well because if we didn't get it out in time it could've traveled further and been fatal"

"So I'm free to go home tonight? I'm sorry I don't like hospitals" I cringed at the possibility of having to stay over night.

"Yeah all good girly. Just give me a minute to write out your prescriptions. You will be on crutches for the time being and have to do physical therapy for 90 days"
