Somethings That Needed To Be Adressed

Id like to adress somethings people have been saying, or more so commenting.

So many people have been commenting about consent in a smut chapter i did a lil while back. And also the fact they fell asleep together with out cleaning up. When It comes to gay smut I am a woman! I dont have any expierences of my own to go off of so most any smut I write is based off the expierences of my homosexual foster brother. That smut chapter was based off of a sleep over said brother had with his boyfriend after 3 years of dating, my brother being in the role of jeremy. Neither party considered it rape at the time, and even tho they have broken up they still dont consider it anything but a loving expierence they shared. And I feel lucky that they shared that with me and gave me permission to use it in my writing.

Next, my usage of the word retarded. I dont want to directly tell people they are over sensitive but like. I am very close to people with mental dissabilities and Id just like everyone to know that most of them are not offended by that word. Its pretty much everyone else who feels the need to be a social justic warrior and defend people who dont wish to be defended. I have a very close relationship to my autistic cousin. We chill together and she likes to cling on my arm when we go places. A lot of autistic people and other people with mental handicaps are more offended by patronizing people who come to 'protect' them from a word they use a lot them selves. I dont want people to find this rant offensive, but I wanted to let people know they are not helping the issue by trying to pretend its not a word. Retard is no more offensive then any other word. Either its all ok or none of it is. Now I know some people will say I have a retarded friend/sibling/cousin/parent/aunt or uncle and they dont like it. Well thats good for them and I understand that. Dont say it around them. Im not gonna put a trigger warning just to use the word retarded. Thank you kindly.

The last issue on my table is the people asking me to put a trigger warning on a certain chapter with death. Im sorry but no can do folks. The whole twist is he dies, not much of a twist if I warn you. So, uh yeah sorry. I dont know what else to say for that one.
