Should we be together? (Gaster x Alice OC)

Chapter 5 : Happiness

3rd P.O.V

It's being a few weeks now that Gaster and Alice are in a secret relationship. They have being using sign language code when they want to see each other. They don't really spend every night making love, not like they wouldn't like too but that would raise suspicion. Alice still do her weekly report to the Covent without fail and the merge going well so far. She wouldn't be always at the lab with Gaster since she have to make her round over the other departement and get the report to her team. On day like this, it's make the skeleton a little bit lonely. He was supervise a new experimentation when he overheard the conversation of some of his collegue.

"Have you hear there was a issue in the market outside?" A lizard one said.

"Yea I hear it! Seem like a human and a monster merchant started to argue about some items and as being going bad." A bird one said.

"But thank goodness the Covent Members interfer and the dispute was long gone." The lizard said.

"True if you think they are like police or something but who know what would happen after the merge would be done..." The Bird said.

"What do you mean?" The lizard said.

"Well they are only there to make sure the merge go well and that we can work with the humans... But once it's done... Won't they return back to their hideout?" The Bird said.

"I don't know maybe we can ask one of them." The lizard said shrugs his shoulder. The Bird nod in agreement and walk away from the room.

Gaster never thought about it... What after the merge Alice would leave and never come back? Or that this relationship meant nothing to her? He shook his head about it and decide to ask her later.

Meanwhile, Alice was finishing her round over the departement. She was looking at her notes on her way back to the Castle when she dumb to someone. Alice almost lost balance but manage to not fall.

"Hey watch where you are going!" Said the person she dumb.

"I am sorry! I didn't see where I was going!" Alice said bowing.

"Hmph I would have arresting you but I will let it slide for now" the person said. Alice look up and saw a woman skeleton wearing a gorgeous dress and hat. She smile at the skeleton woman.

"Thank you ma'am! I will pay more attention where I am going for now on!" Alice said starting to leave.

"Wait!" The skeleton woman said. Alice turn back to her.

"Yes?" She said.

"Are you those Members of the Covent that came 2 months ago?" She ask.

"That's right. I am one of them." Alice said. The skeleton woman seem to be in deep thought before she talk again.

"I see then..." She simply said before she leave to her carriage with her servant. Alice was confuse about that interaction but shrugs off and leave to the Castle.

She arrive to her room, tired with all those round. Don't get her wrong, she love to see the progression and the new inventions but it's become exhausted after walking around for a while. She was laying down of the bed with her eyes close when she hear a beeping noise. She open her eyes and sit up looking around. She found the device that was doing the noise. The Covent was calling her. She answer the call and saw Lady Saint Isabelle and Empror Maximilien on the view.

"Empror! Lady Saint! Why are you calling? I am pretty sure I already give you my report yesterday." Alice said.

"We are calling you because there is a issue at the human Kingdom..." Lady Saint said. Alice furrow her eyebrows when she hear it.
