Sydney's POV
Me and Emma were laying in her room having a normal girls day. "Hey ladies!" Ashley squealed, and came running to us for a group hug. Lately, the three of us have been hanging out more. "So how are we doing on this lovely Saturday morning?" Ashley asked. Nothing special about today. "We're doing awesome. But we've been very boring." I laughed. "Well you know that prom is only a week away, what do you say we go to the mall for last minute dress shopping?" She clapped her hands excitedly. Prom. Oh gosh I completely forgot... "I actually have something to tell you guys about prom!" Emma smiled. "Nathan asked me to go with him!" I gasped. Who am I going with? Please don't tell me Ashley has a date too... "Oh! Did I tell you that I'm going with Cody?" Ashley asked. You're kidding, right? I sighed but then smiled because I was happy for them both. "Oh Syd, I'm sorry don't worry, we can all hang out as a group!" Emma hugged me from the side. "Wait, what about Jacob? You like him! You should go together!" Ashley suggested. "Oh gosh I don't like Jacob! And he doesn't like me either so that wouldn't work anyways." I said with the best serious face I could give. They both broke into laughter. Crap, they didn't buy it. "Wow you're funny! Just admit that you like him. It's okay we aren't judging you." Emma explained. "Okay fine, I really like him. But I can't ask him to prom that's weird it doesn't work out like that. I could see if he wants to go as friends though." I shrugged. "That will be just as good! Now let's go shopping for some dresses! Emma said, and we were out the door.
We had all picked out our dresses and I was really happy with what I got. We were now in the food court, eating Taco Bell. I felt my phone vibrate so I pulled it out of my pocket and look at the screen expecting it to be my mom it dad, but it's Jacob.

J: Hey what are you doing? :)
S: I'm at the mall with Emma and Ash why? :)
J: Be at my house at 5, dress casual!
S: k see you then! :)
J: :)
I then realized that I was smiling at my phone and Emma and Ashley were staring at me. "So what are you guys talking about?" Emma smirked at me. "He said to be at his house at five." I smiled. "Well we only have thirty minutes so let's go!" We threw away our trash, ran out to the car, and the next thing I know we are in Jacobs driveway.
I got out of the car but so did Emma and Ashley? "I don't want to be rude, but why did you guys get out of the car?" I nervously laughed. "Oh we're just gonna walk you inside and such." Ashley said, trailing behind me. I went to knock on the door but it was already open. I stepped inside and the lights were off. There was a small table with a candle and a note saying "follow the Lillie's." I drew my eyebrows together and looked at the girls and they both shrugged. The path continued up all the stairs. I got to the top and there were candles and Lillie's leading to the end of the hallway. She we got there, there was a huge box. And a card on the top saying "Pull the tape off the top of the box." So I did, and balloons, more Lillie's, and finally a little kitten came out of the box. I was in awe, and immediately held the kitten in my arms. "What does the name tag say?" Emma asked. I read it out loud. "Will you go to prom with me? If yes, look to the left." I looked to my left and there stood Jacob in the doorways with a bouquet of roses, and two tickets in the other hand. "Is that a yes?" He asked. Is he crazy? "Of course that's a yes!" I smiled and ran up to him and have him a hug. I turned around and the girls were both video taping us. "Hey have you been recording me this whole time?" I asked. "Yep! Every second, we knew about this whole thing!" They both laughed. "Well you guys are actually good at keeping secrets!" I said surprised. "Yeah! Alright you two, get together for this picture then we will give you some alone time!" Ashley winked. They took the pictures of us, and they were on their way. "Jacob, thank you so much, you went all out, just thank you." I said and gave him another hug.
