I stare at the message and can't help but get angry. I feel that everything that has happened is unjustified, unfair and most of all, fucked up.

"I shouldn't have done that?! I shouldn't have done that?!" I scream at my phone and throw it against the wall. "I shouldn't have done that! Well you shouldn't have killed Amber! You shouldn't have followed me home and planted that game! You shouldn't have carved a fucking tri-force into my neck! You shouldn't have fucking done any of this to me!" I stand up and start to pace from wall to wall of my room while tugging on my hair. I can feel my sanity slowly slip but I can't bring myself to care. "You should have just left me alone!"

Tears start to leak from my eyes again and I probably look crazy as I tug at my hair harshly but it's all I can do to keep myself from having a total break down."Why did you choose me?!" I'm screaming at this point but I don't care. I need answers.

"Why do you think I chose you?" A voice that sounds like the male Siri comes from my phone.

This startles me but I don't question it, "I don't know! That's why I'm asking!"

"Why do you think I chose you?" The same question is asked again with no change in tone at all.

"Just answer me!" I slide down my closed door in defeat. "Please."

"Why do you think I chose you? Answer me."

I put my head in my arms and start to take deep breaths to calm myself. "There's nothing special about me."

"There is not."

It starts to dawn on me then that he's treated this all like a game. Hell, he's even called this all a game. I slowly look back up and speak with a stronger voice. "You were bored."

"Correct."

"So I was just a random choice."

"Correct."

"I am really nothing more than a toy. What will you do with me if you break me?"

"What dose anyone do with a broken toy?"

"They throw it away." my eyes widen as another puzzle piece clicks. "So, you'd just... kill me?"

"Yes."

"Are you even human?" I sneer at my phone on the other side of the room.

A childish chuckle with a deep undertone is heard from the phone, "What do you think?"

I narrow my eyes, "I think that you're a disgusting monster."

"Is that so?" the voice turns from the male Siri to a deep and sinister one. "You think I am a monster? I can truly become on if you'd like. I can ruin your life you know. Delete your mother, leave you without a home, delete your name from all databases. You'd really be a nobody then."

"Please don't!" I beg.

"Then behave yourself." the voice is back to that of male Siri.

I sit in silence for a long while, trying to gather myself then finally get the nerve to ask the question that has been bugging me the most: "What are you going to do with me?"

Another long silence draws out and when he finally answers I jump a little. "What makes you think I would answer that?"

"Please. Don't you think I deserve at least that?"

"No, I don't."

I sit in silence again until I hear the door downstairs open. Mom is home.

I pull myself together enough to go greet her.

When I see her, she has worry in her eyes but a smile plastered on her face. "Hi. Put your shoes on. We're going out."

I look at her oddly, "Where to?"

"To get you help."
