Pidge: hello !!
Allura: Ah thank you for fixing my computer! I got my paper turned in and didn't have to explain why every other word didn't have the letter T lolol.
Pidge: no problem
Pidge: it was an easy fix
Dr. Shiro entered the chatroom
Pidge: holy shit dude it's been awhile
Dr. Shiro: Yeah sorry about before.
Pidge: yeah you were kinda a dick
Allura: Lolol
Dr. Shiro: Anyway...
Dr. Shiro: Is Lance not here?
Pidge: nah he's been radio silent
Pidge: what's up?
Dr. Shiro: He didn't tell you?
Allura: Tell us what?
Dr. Shiro: Yesterday the hospital gave all medical students the day off because of how terrible Thursday was for them.
Allura: Wasn't that the day of the apartment building fire?
Dr. Shiro: Yeah. I thought Lance would be on by now. To at least check in or to talk to someone...
Pidge: what happened?
Dr. Shiro: Oh man. He hasn't told you?
Dr. Shiro: Lance lost his first patient.
Allura: And he hasn't said anything?!
Pidge: what the fuck man
Dr. Shiro: I'm really worried about him. He hasn't picked up any of my calls or texts.
Dr. Shiro: He shouldn't be alone right now.
Dr. Shiro: Can you text me his dorm number, I want to check on him.
Dr. Shiro: I tried to call him Thursday night when things calmed down but he didn't answer so I thought that he might have fell asleep.
Pidge: yeah give me a minute
Allura: That's terrible. What happened?
Dr. Shiro: He was set up in triage because he can't actually practice on severely injured patients. A man came in with a unresponsive girl. Lance immediately began preforming life saving measures but it was just too late.
Dr. Shiro: She was trampled and inhaled too much smoke. Lance kept trying to save her but she was DOA.
Pidge: that's fucking horrible
Dr. Shiro: You're telling me. I practically had to pull him off her. You didn't see him or how her death crushed him. I can't even think about it.
Pidge: I sent it to you. Keep us in the loop, yeah?
Dr. Shiro: On it.
Dr. Shiro left the chatroom
Allura: I can't imagine what he must be feeling.
Pidge: he's not even a doctor yet and he already has to deal with this ??
Allura: What's worse is he's not talking to anyone.
Allura: That has to just eat you up.
