When I walked into detention it was practically deserted. All the desks were empty except for the one in the far back right corner. A boy with dark brown almost black hair sat with his head on the desk, he looked as if he were asleep. The teacher sat at his desk marking tests, he looked over at me as the door shut behind me.

"Miss Ross nice of you to join us," he said sarcastically. I grunted in return shuffling to a seat in the front row.

Grabbing a book out of my bag I sat back in my chair resting my feet on the desk in front of me.

  Might as well get comfortable.

Half an hour later I was about three quarters of the way through my book and it had gotten to the best part. I was totally engrossed in my book, that was until the teacher, Mr Johnson, decided to speak up.

"I'm going to get a coffee, if you leave..." he paused for a second before continuing. "You know what, I don't care. If you leave don't get caught."

Then he was gone.

It was silent and I started reading, becoming more engrossed into the book than before. Several moments passed before I was interrupted again.

Oh My God! Can't they just let me read.

The sound of the chair next to me scraping against the floor tiles was the only thing you could hear, as the boy sat down and lent closer to me. I didn't bother looking up. He lent even closer, close enough that I could smell his cologne. The smell was addictive, sweet with a hint of spice and something I couldn't place.

"Hey," his raspy voice was right next to me, his warm breath fanned over my ear.

Why is he so close to me? I ignored him.

"What are you reading," he tried to get my attention, didn't work.

"I'm talking to you."

Ignore.

"Don't you know who I am?"

Don't you know I don't care?  I still didn't give him my attention, instead I flipped the page.

"What are you mute or something?"

That's it!

"No it's called ignoring you. So how about you go away or even better shut up." I said in a bored tone, still flipping through the pages.

"How about you look at me when you talk to me," he demanded. He sounded ready to flip the desk he was holding. Yep he's angry, his knuckles had turned white.

Someone has anger issues.

I finally looked up and met his eyes. His extremely bright blue eyes stared back at me, his signature smirk spreading across his face and I froze.

Wade Summers.

I was dumbfounded. Why was the schools bad boy talking to me? I mean I know I'm amazing, but still. He doesn't talk to anyone. Well no one except his few friends. And on top of that what is he doing here? Didn't he get suspended?

I didn't let any emotion come across my face as I studied him. God he's hot. His dark brown hair was styled messily making it look like he just woke up. Even though he probably spent 30 minutes trying to get it perfect.

"What do you want?" I said in the best non interested voice I could manage but failed miserably. I just hope he didn't notice. But when he's smirk grew I knew he heard it.

Crap.

Wade leaned impossiblly closer. "We would  produce adorable babies," he said randomly. I looked at him with wide eyes, leaning away from him.

"Excuse me?" I choked on my saliva.

He chuckled, he looks even better when he smiles.

Maybe he should do it more often.

"You know we would," he said leaning back on his chair, studying me. I cleared my throat awkwardly, turning back to my book, but stopped when he stood up and walked around me. Before I could ask him what he was doing he reached down and grabbed my bag.

"Come on," he said while stepping away from me, towards the door.

"What?" I asked confused.

He stopped walking and turned to face me again. "Come on let's go, I'll take you home."

I stared at him dumbfounded."No I'm not going anywhere with you," I stood up book in hand and walked over to him to get my bag back.

He let out a light chuckle. "You say that like you have a choice."

Oh My God, he is so, so egotistical. Why is he so sure I'll go with him?

"What if I have a ride home already?" I'm grasping at straws here. I just don't want to go with him. I don't have a ride home but he doesn't know that, maybe he will fall for i-.

"Well do you?" he raised an eyebrow.

Crap! Quick think of something! My subconscious yelled at me. I started to panic. " I...um...Well...Actually...um..."  crap! Crap! Crap! "That's not the point," I said defeated.  His smile only grew because he knows he had me in a corner.

"Ok good let's go!" He sounded like a happy child as he strutted out of the room.

Why couldn't you think of something. My subconscious growled at me.

Sorry I don't do good under pressure.

Feeling defeated I dragged myself out of the classroom and down the hall.

"Hold on, I'm coming."
