Lilia: "Here it is! All we need to do is climb up to the nest!" she said jumping with excitement.
Cheval: "A-are you sure? What if there's a monster waiting for us!" Cheval said nervously.
Lilia: "Here we go again...Let's just go already! We are going to be riders next year anyway so get used to it Cheval!" Lilia said with a friendly smirk.
Cheval: "Fine, but if I get eaten you are going to be in so much trouble." he said with a sigh.
Yn: "What monster egg do you think is up there anyway?" I said.
Lilia: "I dunno! Let's find out!" she said as she started to climb the tall tree trunk that led to the nest.
Cheval and Yn: "W-wait for us!" Me and Cheval said in usion.
Lilia: "Oh my Gargwa! Guys look at all the eggs!" Lilia shrieked happily.
Cheval: "Shhh! Lilia keep your voice down! You could attract a monster!" Cheval said in a loud whisper.
Lilia: "Ok fine, but look! So many monster eggs!" she said.
Cheval: "Ok, we saw them can we go now..?" he said looking around paranoidly.
Lilia: "Of course...NOT! We need to hatch one of the eggs!" she said with a smile.
Cheval: "W-what!? We aren't even riders how are we supposed to hatch one? And if it does hatch what if it attacks? O-or worse, EATS us!?" he said surprised.
Yn: "How do we even hatch an egg? Just like Cheval said, we aren't riders yet." I said confused.
Lilia: "Well...aha! We can use these!" Lilia said holding up three rocks.
Cheval: "How are those going to help?" he said sighing.
Lilia: "They're Kinship stones! Well 'temporary' ones." she said regaining her excitement.
Yn: "I guess we could try, we did come all the way out here." I said shrugging my shoulders.
Lilia: "All right, I will now recite the Rite of Kinship!" Lilia said holding her stone in the air.
Cheval: "These are just rocks.." Cheval said.
Lilia: "Hey pay attention! This is a sacred ritual. Be respectful!" Lilia said continuing.
Cheval: "Okay, okay." he said.
Lilia: "Next we formally introduce ourselves. Well come on, tell the egg your name Yn.
Yn: "Ok, hello egg, my name is Yn!" I said.
Lilia: "Ok, here we go, 'O great Kinship Stone. Bind thyself to the spirit of Yn. The time of rebirth is nigh. Awaken now, let us hear your cry!" Lilia chanted.
We all stood staring at the egg, but it sat there unmoving.
Lilia: "Oh... I must of gotten something wrong." Lilia said with a crestfallen look.
Cheval: "Well, it's not like it was the real ritual." Cheval said with a small smirk.
All of a sudden the egg suddenly moved! It teetered a bit, then wobbled as something moved inside. As if the small monster had heard their chant persuading it out into the world. You and your friends stared at the egg in wonder as it gently rolled onto its side. Then it cracked! A small creature was breaking through the shell! It broke out, with part of the egg shell still covering its head.
Cheval: "W-what!" he said in surprise.
The small monster was a beautiful crimson red with dark blue spikes and a pale yellow underbelly. It staggered around a bit, and fell onto its bottom, and gently knocked the egg shell off its head, revealing its majestic sapphire blue stare.

Lilia: "Wooow! It's the King of the Skies...a Rathalos!" she said jumping up and down excitedly.
Cheval: "We...we really hatched it!" Cheval said with a big grin.
But then the baby Rathalos took a flying leap and launched itself at you. 'Is this the end?' I thought. Cheval and Lilia both yelled in shock.
Cheval and Lilia: "Wait! Yn!" the yelled at the same time.
But the baby Rathalos started to snuggle it's head into your arm. He wasn't attacking me...I think he thinks I'm its mother..." I thought watching it nuzzle me.
Cheval: "What's it doing?!" he asked.
Lilia: "Aww...Ratha thinks Yn is his parent. Don't you Ratha?" Lilia said smiling.
Cheval: "Ratha?" he said in confusion
Lilia: "Right! Ratha the Rathalos!"
Yn: "It seems like a nice name, it's really cute!" I said.
Cheval: "We need to get back to the village, the sun is setting!" he said urgently. Riders and other villagers were forbidden to be out after dark, it was very unsafe, many monsters came out after dusk. So they made a rule that no one may go outside at night.
Lilia: "Yeah we should head back to Hakum Village." Lilia agreed.
Yn: "W-what about Ratha? We can't just leave him here..." I said watching Ratha play around the nest.
Cheval: "Hmmm...we could take him with us." he said his timid nature melting away.
Lilia: "Good idea Cheval! But what will the others say? And Chief Omna will definitely notice!"
Yn: "Well we should hide him! I know a good spot behind the stables!" I said.
Cheval: "That could work, we gotta make sure no one sees him though." Cheval said.
Lilia: "Oh I know! Me and Cheval can distract anyone around, and then Yn can lead Ratha to the hiding place!" Lilia said confident in her plan.
Cheval: "That's a good idea, but let's hurry! The sun is almost half way behind the forest."
Yn: "Ok got it, let's go and stick to the plan! I said, and everyone nodded.
And we were off back to Hakum Village with our plan to keep Ratha hidden in mind.
