Nuisance is me

"Mom! I don't want to go to school. I'd prefer home schooling than socializing with those cheap people."

It's 7 in the morning and here we are,arguing about my studies.

"But Princes--"

"Don't call me Princess, mom! I'm not a 6 year old for god's sake" i cut her.

"Pero anak, you're 14 years old. All this time nandito ka lang sa bahay, nagaaral. Don 't you want to have some social life? "

" I go malling and watch movies" i defended myself.

"With whom? With yourself?"

Then, I saw dad on the stairs heading towards us.

"What's the noise all about?"

"Dad.........mom wants me to go to school but I don't want to. Dad please tell her "

Dad has been always my savior. He is always on my side everytime mom and I argue over some things.

"Shawnelle ,sweetie" dad is always fond of calling me sweetie. "It's not your mom's idea. It's mine. As your mom have said, you are already 14 years old. You should go to school. Me and your mom will be much relieved if alam namin na sa isa kang safe na lugar nag aral"

"But Dad, our home is safe"

"Still, it's different. Whitegriff is a good school for you and you're already enrolled. Besides, me and your mom will be away for six months. We have a business trip in France"

I've heard of Whitegriff from my tutor. It's a prestigious school exclusively for those who can afford and I'm one of them

The idea of them leaving me here is making me nauseous.

"You enrolled me without asking my permission first? But----"

"No buts Sweetie. My, I mean our decision is final"

"If that's what you want then fine!!!"sabi ko habang padabog na umakyat sa hagdan then I faced them. "But don't expect me to be good"

Next day.....

Nandito ako ngayon at nageempake.

Because I'm living in a dorm. I hope it's not like from what i heard of those cheap dorms in public schools.

"Shawnelle, are you ready? We're going to send you to school before going to the airport" dad shouted from downstairs.

I checked myself in front of the mirror and fixed my uniform. It's a dark blue coat with the school's badge in front and a long sleeve blouse underneath. A dark blue and white checkered skirt which is an inch above the knee. Pagkatapos kong mag ayos ay bumaba na ako. Sinalubong ako Nina Mom and Dad with a hug.

"You do look like a real school girl, Seanelle" mom said.

We'll I really do. Everything looks good on me. That's no joke.

After breakfast, they sent me to school. Pag dating na pag dating palang namin ay hindi ko na mapigilang mamangha. I must admit, Whitegriff is beautiful school.

"Bye Mom, bye Dad" I said and bid one last goodbye with a kiss on their cheeks.

"Bye Sweetie, don't worry your allowance is already in your account. It's half a million. Is that enough? If not you can call me and we'll send you money immediately"
