Chapter Eight

~3rd POV~

It has been almost 40 minutes that the group has been traveling to Seogwipo with their guide, Chaerin. CL showed them different beautiful sites on their way to their destination, but one person only had his eyes on her. Every time she would laugh or smile he could feel himself want to smile along with her.

"Dude, you're gonna stare a hole into her head.", Jay turned and saw Vernon smirking at him.

"I-I don't know what you're talking about.", Jay tried playing it smooth but only made it worse. Vernon bursted out laughing, catching the attention of everyone in the front of the bus, including Chaerin.

Jay's eyes widened twice the size and he immediately elbowed Vernon in the side, "Dude, shut the hell up!"

Vernon toned down his laughter and let Jay be. The group finally arrived to their destination, unloading from the front of the bus to the back, Jay being the second to last to get off the bus, right before Chaerin. He heard her yell to the driver that he was good to go before hopping of the bus step, walking ahead of the group.

"Okay my lovelies, how about we get to your hotel so we can let you guys unload before we finish this tour?", she smiled as everyone belted out in a chorus of approval. She led them to their hotel and they unloaded as talked about, some even changing into more comfortable clothes before regrouping in the lobby of the hotel.

Everyone chatted happily with one another as they waited and some played around the lobby since it was completely reserved for the crew. Jay stood by the windows, watching the sky change from blue to pinks, reds, and oranges. He was so entranced he barely noticed the person walking up beside him.

"It's beautiful isn't it?", they sighed. He nodded, turning towards the voice, his eyes nearly bulging out of his head. There beside him stood Chaerin, smiling as she watched the sky, turning towards him a few seconds later.

"You okay there?", she laughed as he nodded his head, not having a voice to answer her, "My name's Chaerin, or CL for short.", she said as she extended her hand towards Jay.

"My name's Jay. Nice to meet you Chaerin.", he gave her a cheerful smile, in which she returned. She went to say something but was pulled away by a couple people who started asking her questions about the area. Yoongi and Jimin came walking out of the elevator, walking over to Chaerin.

"So, where are we off to first?", Jimin asked cheerfully. Chaerin gave him a big smile as she asked, "How do y'all like food and dancing?",everyone cheered loudly to answer her question, making her giggle,"Well let's go lovelies."

Everyone hurried out the doors, loading onto the bus, couples sitting together and others finding finding open seats. Yoongi, Jimin, Jay, and Chaerin were the last to get on the bus, Yoongi and Jimin sitting together and Jay sitting across from them. Chaerin told the driver where to go then moved to sit by Jay, giving him a smile.

"So, where are we going Chaerin?", Jay asked.

"We are going somewhere amazing, that's all I'm going to say.", she smiled, Jay returning the smile.

"So Jay, do you have a girlfriend?", Chaerin asked, trying to strike up a conversation.

He shook his head, "No, I've been single for a few years now. What about you?"

"No, I've haven't been in a relationship for two years. I've been focusing on my studies, and before you say anything, yes I am 27 but I'm going back to school to study acting.", she stated happily.

Jay's jaw dropped, "You're studying acting? Is there anything you do on the side?"

She nodded, her smile growing, "Yes, I also sing."
