Chapter Ten

~Yoongi's POV~

It's the day I'm planning on taking Jimin out. I woke up early so I could finish planning things out because today isn't just a normal date. I've been planning on proposing to Jimin for a few weeks now and I figured doing it while we were on vacation was the best way to go. Since Jin and Namjoon are engaged, I asked them for their advice and help.

"You remember the restaurant I told you about right?", Jin asked. I nodded my head for about the thousandth time since I woke up. Maybe I shouldn't have asked for Jin's help.

"It's gonna go great Yoongi.", Namjoon said, rubbing his hand up and down Jin's back.

I thanked them both before heading upstairs to wake Jimin up. When I walked into the room, I found Jimin sprawled out across the bed, his upper body on full display due to the blanket falling down in his sleep. I walked over to Jimin's side, shaking him slightly, "Jiminie, it's time to get up." '

He mumbled something before rolling over onto his side, the blanket falling on the floor, leaving him only in his boxers. I smiled and went to wake him up again, succeeding this time. I handed him some clothes I picked out, not too nice but a little more than formal. He took them quietly, standing from the bed, giving me a peck on the lips before walking to the bathroom. Since he showers in the morning I decided to wait on the bed, pulling out my phone, and started to scroll through Instagram.

About 15 minutes later Jimin came out of the bathroom fully dressed and hair dryed, "I'm ready."

I pocketed my phone and walked over to Jimin, "Good, we have a few places to be today."

We soon headed out the door, getting into the rental car I have and headed to our first destination.

~Jimin's POV~

The first place he took me was to the movies to see a movie I've been wanting to watch and now we are about to go to dinner. The restaurant wasn't too far away from the theatre so we just decided to walk so we could enjoy the air.

Once we got to the restaurant, the hostess showed us to our table and another waitress came up to take our orders.

"Hello, my name is Khloe and I'll be your waitress this evening. What can I get you two to drink?", she asked politely.

"A bottle of white wine will do.", Yoongi said, looking over the menu. She nodded and wrote it down on the pad of paper.

"Do you guys know what you want or do you need a few minutes?"

"We know what we want. I'll take a cesar salad and crab legs on the side.", Jimin said, closing the menu, "And I'll have the steak, medium rare, with a salad on the side."

She nodded as she wrote down the last of our order, "Okay, I'll be back with your wine shortly." After she walked away, I focused my attention on Yoongi.

"Was there a specific reason you wanted to take me out?", I asked.

Yoongi only shrugged, "Do I have to have a reason to take my boyfriend out of a date?"

"I suppose not, it's just that you aren't a super romantic type of person, it was a big change.", I said, grabbing his hand from across the table. He nodded, knowing what I said was indeed true. Khloe came back with our wine and looked down at our hands, "Awe, you guys are so cute!"

I smiled at her, "Thank you!", she smiled back and set our wine down, heading back to the kitchen to get our orders. This night is amazing.

~Yoongi's POV~

As Jimin finished his last little bit of salad, I fiddled with the ring box that was in my jacket pocket. It started feeling heavier and heavier as the night went on, slowly coming to the time where I ask Jimin to be mine forever.

"Babe?", I heard Jimin say. I broke my gaze away from the table and focused on him, "Yeah?"

"I said I was done, we can go now.", he smiled brightly at me. I nodded and stood first, extending my hand out to him. We walked out after I left a $20 tip and paid the bill.

"Where are we going now?", Jimin asked, swinging our hands slightly.

"Now, we are gonna go for a walk by the beach.", I smiled at him. His eyes lit up and gave a little happy dance. We didn't go back to the car, we just walked to the beach since it wasn't too much of a far walk.

It was now dark outside but the moon gave off all the light we needed. We soon got to the beach and, just as expected, it was empty. We wasted no time and took off our shoes, leaving them by the end of the sidewalk and rolled up the bottom of our pants. Jimin immediately grabbed my hand and we walked over to the water, walking in deep enough to cover the tops of our feet.

"Thank you Yoongi, this has been absolutely amazing.", Jimin said, grinning from ear to ear.

"You're welcome baby.", I said, kissing him softly.

We walked along the beach for a while longer, enjoying each others company and looked at the sky. I turned and looked at Jimin and he looked breathtaking, that's the moment I knew for sure that I would love him for the rest of my life.

"Jimin,", I started, grabbing his attention, "This wasn't just a normal date. I've actually been planning this for the last few weeks and I felt like now was the perfect time to do it. You have made my life better ever since the first day I met you. I know we didn't meet in the most ideal way but even so, it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. You made our family so much stronger and closer than ever before. You are the sweetest, most kind hearted, and beautiful person I have ever met. I know that you are the love of my life. So, I want to ask you,", I paused, getting down on one knee as I watched Jimin's eyes fill with unshed tears as he covered his mouth, "will you make me the happiest man on earth and do me the honor of marrying me?"

Immediately, Jimin's tears fell as he nodded his head furiously, "Yes! Yes! A million times yes!!"

I felt a huge weight lift of my shoulders as I stood, taking the ring out of the box and putting it on Jimin's finger. He looked up at me and pressed his lips on mine, kissing me passionately. We stayed like that for a few seconds longer before pulling away. I wiped away the tears that fell from Jimin's eyes, pulling him into my chest.

He's officially my fiancé. Mine.
