The next stop on my journey before I returned to London and the boys was back to my home town Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. I was going to go to the house where I had lived in full time before I became famous, and I wanted to go back to that little piece of sanity in this whole situation.

I arrived in the village in the evening of the same day that I had got the phone call off Louis. As soon as I got out of the taxi I knew that I was alone, my mam's car wasn't there, and neither was Robin's.

I unlocked the door and entered the house. I decided that I would do the exact same routine as I would have done when I had arrived home after working a long shift at the bakery. I took off my shoes and put them in the shoe rack in the porch and hung my coat up on my peg along with my hat. I then went through to the kitchen and made myself a cup of hot chocolate, adding whipped cream and marshmallows for added effect and then ran up the stairs to my bedroom.

I opened my bedroom door and just stood, staring at my old room. Before I entered in to the X Factor I always used to take this room for granted, never used to keep it clean, never used to keep it tidy because I knew it would always be there and it would never change. Now I see it differently. Okay, my room is still here, in good condition, but as a lot of people say 'you don't realise what you've got until it's gone'. I never get to come here anymore, never really get the chance to come and just relax with my family, and when I do, I know I have to go back to work soon, but right now, that is definitely not what I want to do.

My room looked the same as ever, the dark blue walls with the black carpet which you could hardly see due to all the debris that scattered the place. I had a nice big window, with a window seat and next to the seat was stacks of papers, magazines, books and notepads, all used for musical purposes. On the opposite side of the room is my desk with all my old schoolbooks all over the place, gathering dust. This was where I placed my mug of hot chocolate before I ran for the centre of my bedroom.

I collapsed on to the bed, feeling the memory foam mattress do it's work and making me feel more at home than ever before. I decided to take off all my clothes until I was only wearing my boxers and just lay on the bed thinking. By the time I remembered that I had made my hot chocolate it had gone cold, so I just starting taking out the marshmallows and popping them in to my mouth and licking the cream out of the mug. I was just about to head downstairs to empty my mug out when I heard a jangling of keys outside the door of the house.

Time to face the family...

I could hear my mam's confused voice as she realised the door was unlocked and the door being thrown open and two voices shouting, "Harry, Harry," over and over. I didn't want this, I wanted to have some alone time.

But I had to face the inevitable sometime.

My door was forced open, the wood crashing against the wall, and I saw the relieved faces of my mam and Gemma before me. The next thing I knew I was immersed in hugs. I awkwardly hugged them back.

"Where in the world have you been?" My mam asked.

"Erm, places," I shrugged, not wanting to explain right now.

"You are never to do that ever again, you promise," she was pointing at me... This was so serious.

"I won't mam, I promise," I rolled my eyes, putting my hand on my heart for effect. Gemma laughed and hugged me again whereas my mam rolled her eyes and left the room making a phone call to management, telling them I had been 'found'.

Gemma waited until we heard mam's footsteps go down the stairs before she asked, "Have you been here all along?"

"Nah, just got here about an hour ago,"
