Chapter Four ●● Meet & Greet and 'Love Troubles'

 Chanel’s P.O.V

Wasn’t long until we finally got to the campgrounds. The first thing I noticed was a huge cabin somewhat in the middle of the campgrounds, and just behind it in the distance, there were other somewhat smaller cabins with a fair distance between them all.

The camp was pretty big, no lie about that. There was a lot of land to it. Not to mention a huge lake too.

“Come on guys, in here.” JC said and walked into the huge cabin that I saw when I first came onto the campgrounds. Lance followed behind him, carrying my bag. What a sweetheart! And Justin somewhat stumbled his way in there, having Jesse’s weight on top of him. Rikki stopped to take a breather when we got onto the campgrounds, but quickly jogged inside the cabin when she realized they were finally here.

I followed everyone else inside to realize that it was the like, kitchen cabin or the Mess Hall. Inside there were about like 30 boys in there, a chunk of them were running around, yelling and screaming like children, while the rest of them were seated on some of the tables, just chatting.

The only girls in the room were Jesse, Rikki, the camp leader person [lol sorry, I don’t know what they’re called] and the camp counselor. They were both females as well.

I cannot comprehend why they would agree to take care of an all boys camp, it must drive them crazy.

“Okay,” Justin stopped and panted hard with Jesse still on his back. “You can get off now!”

Jesse smiled to herself and hopped off of Justin’s back. She put her hand on his shoulder as he was bending over and said, “Sorry buddy! But hey, you could take that as a work out.”

“What the heck have you been eating since I last saw you?!”

Jesse immediately shot him a death glare and slapped his back, causing him to yell out in pain. “Don’t you ever talk to me like that!”

“Well you’ve definitely gotten sassier, that’s for sure.” Justin said and then quickly ran off to a table before Jesse could jump him.

 Rikki’s P.O.V

I laughed at Jesse & Justin’s witty banter. I always thought that they would make a cute couple, the way they pick on each other just shows affection for each other, if I must say.

I but then turned around when I felt someone poking my shoulder. I turned to see the face of the gorgeous JC, smiling at me. “Uhhh so I’m gonna put your bags over there in the back, so when we’re leaving make sure you just go over there and get your bag and your friends’ bags too.”

“Oh alright thanks! Thanks again for carrying them for me” I got so lost in his blue eyes that it took me a bit to realize what I said. “-Uh I mean, us. Uh Jesse and I. You um-carried both our bags.”

Why did I have to stutter like an idiot when I was nervous? I looked at the ground almost immediately to try and hide my pink face, but all I heard was a little laughter coming from JC. I felt hurt a bit, thinking he was laughing at my idiotness until I felt him lift up my chin and look me in the eyes.

He shot me that amazing smile of his before saying, “You’re cute.”

If I was pink before, then I most definitely, without a doubt, was now bright red.

“Hey, I’ma go hang out with a couple of my friends over there in the back. You should go around and introduce yourself. You know, being on a camp with boys really isn’t that bad once you get to know us.” He said. Well yeah, of course being in a camp with all boys isn’t bad, I’m a teenage girl for crying out loud.
