"Where are we going? You missed the right turn.." Olivia spoke as Colson drove ahead. "You're not good with the concept of surprises are you?" He chuckled as he pulled up the freeway. "Dude, as if this wasn't enough already!"Olivia blurted. "Relax, I haven't payed for anything." Colson reassured as he looked over to her. As a smile appeared on her face he grinned and said: "Yet." "Colson!" She yelled in laughter. "Just kidding. And even if I had, so what? I have the money and not spending it would be a waste. Besides, part of it was yours once. You know, you practically gave me money while buying merchandise and tickets. So I just transformed it into our first official date." He spoke as he was mainly trying to avoid another rap marathon by making conversation.

"Well fuck you for somehow turning it on me then." She laughed as she looked out the window, wondering where he was taking her to. "But like, it's true." "It fucking is now stop talking about it and drive will you?" Liv chuckled as she slapped his arm. "Okay okay fine, it's not that far though." Colson said as he left the freeway. "Oooo, can I know yet?" Liv asked. "You'll see it in a minute, just be patient." He made a few turns and Olivia looked around and tried to figure out where they were going, until Colson finally pulled up along the beach.

"The beach? That's actually kinda cool." She laughed as she opened her door before Colson could. "Oh, so dinner wasn't 'cool' then?" Colson asked as he poked her side. "It was, it was." She laughed as they walked onto the beach. It was silent and empty, peaceful.

As the sun started setting Colson pulled Liv onto the sand. "I wanted to watch the sunset with you." He spoke as he leaned against a rock that was behind him. She followed his movement and looked at the horizon that started to form a beautiful measure of orange, pink and purple. As she watched the sunset, she felt Colson move so his head was leaning on her stomach, making her smile. She started playing with his hair as the sun slowly went down. The silence was actually very pleasing.

"Liv?" Colson then suddenly spoke as the sun had been gone for a while but they just looked at the colors slowly fading into darkness. "Can I tell you something?" He then asked, knowing she was listening since she stopped playing with his hair and looked down at him. "Of course you can." She replied as Colson sat back up. "I know you're not in a good place, and have been for a while now..." Olivia immediately knew he was about to drop something on her, she could technically feel it coming.

"... and I'm heading back on tour in 2 days. As much as I'd love for you to come, I don't think your mom will allow you to go away with someone she doesn't know at all, especially not after what happened in just under a week ago." He continued. She knew what he was going to say and she hated it. All she was hoping now is that he wouldn't end anything. She needed him, like he said, she wasn't in a good place and she couldn't handle him leaving her like everyone else had.

"And like I completely understand, but I need you to promise me something." He finally said looking her in the eyes. A tear escaped her eye as she realized how worried he was for her safety with him not being around. "Don't.." She whispered, her voice cracking slightly.

"Why not? Are you planning to commit suicide after I leave? I need you to promise me, Liv." Colson spoke, raising his voice a bit. "You know I can't leave without knowing you'll be okay." He added as he kept trying to get her to look him in the eye. "I... I'm not going to..." Olivia stuttered as she felt very guilty about making him worry about her like this. "You're not going to what?" He asked, waiting for her to actually say it. "T-to kill myself." She finished, hearing him sigh in relief. "Promise?" He asked, carefully lifting her chin so she'd look at him.

"Yes. Promise." She smiled as she looked in his beautiful blue eyes. "Thank you. Now, let's go on a long ass beach walk and share some stories, sound good?" Colson spoke as he stood up and reached out for her hand. "One question." Olivia said as she took it and let him help her up.

"I thought you smoked joints all day? How come I haven't had the pleasure to witness it?" She giggled referring to the many episodes on Kellyvision in which he'd be smoking. "Because, my dear Liv, I'm supposed to be driving later. It's irresponsible to drive under influence." He replied laughing at her comment. "Well, well, well... Machine Gun Kelly has finally grown responsible!" Liv mocked. "Who am I even kidding, I'd let you drive if you wanted to." Colson spoke, expecting her to not have a drivers license. "Pardon me? I can drive just fine!" She gasped and slapped his arm. "You can?" He asked surprised. "Eh, yes?"

"I'm driving. You can smoke if you want to." Liv laughed. "Oh my god, I've got a girlfriend that can drive. You keep getting better and better by the second." He laughed as he reached into his pocket to roll up a joint perfectly. "Have you ever smoked one?" He asked as he put his stuff away and put the joint between his lips. "Nope. Haven't ever smoked anything." "We should smoke together sometime." He smiled as he lit the joint and wrapped his arm around Olivia before walking ahead.

"Thank you, for today Colson. I honestly enjoyed myself." She then suddenly spoke as a deathly silence fell over them after a while. "It's okay, I did too." He smiled as he stopped walking to look at her. "No but really, thank you for caring." She smiled. "For caring? Girl I have to, I love you." He chuckled as he planted a gentle kiss on my lips.
